5.0 out of 5 stars A wonderful book.
Explains basic computer concepts and Internet safety rules. And lots of useful information for playing Minecraft
5.0 out of 5 stars Great gift
This was a gift for my sons friend who was a Minecraft fan. It had great detail in it for an 8 year old and was greatly appreciated.
4.0 out of 5 stars has some cool build ideas but has some outdated comands
Some of the commands that it suggests you use are outdated and no longer work but overall it is a fun book and is great because it provides education and allows the kids to play while doing it
5.0 out of 5 stars A must have for Minecrafting youngsters
My grandson has read and worked through this book several times and is now asking for the others in the set. That's Christmas sorted! Thoroughly recommended for children with enquiring minds.
5.0 out of 5 stars Making learning fun
I love this idea and it's a great way to align kids interests with their learning. The book offers loads of detail and gets progressively more challenging always including a side of Minecraft to make it fun.
5.0 out of 5 stars Nice book to make minecraft educational
Minecraft is the kind of game that kids spend a lot of time on, and this book convert that to an educational experience. This book covers several different computing and coding topics, including security, smart homes, etc. There is a basic story that stiches the stories loosely together, and sprinkles various exercises throughout the book. It was reasonably fun as long as you arent expecting a minecraft project book. The production quality of the layout, colours, illustrations are very nice.Listed Price when I reviewed it: £6.99(Disclaimer: I received this for free as part of the Bolo Vine program, but the views here are based on my own experiences and not edited or influenced by anyone)
3.0 out of 5 stars Fun and decent workbook but bit basic
MY kids love both mincraft and coding, so got this for them to work through on a rainy day. Well printed, well laid out - all makes sense. Is quite basic in terms of coding tasks and reading level (says 7-11 but I would say maybe 7-9) - so it is a decent book but not as in depth as they might like, more like a colouring activity book with added minecraft tasks.
4.0 out of 5 stars Great educational book hidden by Minecraft!
Our 8-10 year olds liked this book, the fact it was Minecraft themed made it a big win. From a parents side having a theme like this really helps to get them to do educational stuff away from school.
