Comes with a sticker chart, which made reading extra fun for my daughter. Improved her reading confidence and rhythm which was also noticed by the school teachers. She's 5 and can read all the books independently after a couple of months. Highly recommend.

My 6-year-old son, who wasn't interested in reading before, has now read all 12 books consecutively! He really enjoyed the stories and loved adding stickers to the sticker sheet. Highly recommended!

My son really likes these and we have found them great for teaching him to read. One problem though, we got sent an extra "dig dig dig" (book 4) and we didn't get book 5 which is a shame. Only just noticed, which is a bit too late. Anyway, check your books when then arrive

We purchased this set for our 4 year old daughter who has just started school and is learning phonics. These books are ideal with the stage 1 books made up of very short sentences comprising of three-letter words. Ideal for a new reader to begin sounding out the words. Our daughter is whizzing through them and loves adding a sticker to the chart for each book she reads. Will definitely be purchasing more from this range.

I got this for my granddaughter aged 6. She can read the books. Really good for Primary 1& 2 pupils.
Too many negative themes
I love Julia Donaldson books so I was eager to get these early readers for my daughter. When I flipped through them though, I was surprised to find a nasty or negative tone to many of the books. One book consists of classmate after classmate telling a bully to “buzz off” before reporting him to their teacher who can’t wait for her day to end so she can go home, only to find her own kids behaving the same way. In another book, a mom “tells off” the dad because he’s singing all the time. There is a book about a bunny who closes his restaurant because all of his patrons are complaining. There’s a book where the mom is called a “fusspot” by the dad for calling the doctor when the baby is sick. And other books show evil looking characters like vain cats and toddlers being toddlers. Honestly, I was baffled. I thought the readers would be cute and funny. I don’t want to encourage these negative attitudes in my impressionable 5 year old so I’ll be returning.
Must buy for age groups 3-5 yrs !
If your child is learning phonics, this set is a must buy. Beautiful illustrations and a very understandable basic reading for beginners!Highly recommended 🫶🏼

Le gustan mucho a mi hijo para practicar sus lecturas en inglés. Son asequibles y viene con unas pegatinas de objetivos que le motivan mucho.

Good starting set to make and idea about phonics approach and decide how to proceed.My daughter likes it a lot.10 legged fat Zog is the best!
Great starter books
My child is learning to read and these were perfect for him. Super easy and not to intensive.
