This is a great book for any child who loves exciting outdoor adventures or just reading about them! The illustrations are beautifully drawn and the story is great fun and will be enjoyed by children old enough to read for themselves or by parents and grandparents reading to younger ones. This is the first in a series of Croaky adventures so really looking forward to the next book coming out later in the year.

Another great illustrated chapter book, will be perfect for younger readers! Croaky just loves adventure and finds it hard to make friends, but when he joins a local scout group, he gets more than he bargained for! Gorgeously illustrated! Lots of fun!

We’ve enjoyed all of Matty’s books so far. This one is like the SHMF chapter books, not quite as long, but importantly in full colour which is awesomeLooking forward to the next one!

Live Matty Long, especially the SHMF series and recently picked up this and the new Croaky story for my 6 and 8 year old. A great, fun read, easy enough for them both to read alone but more fun to read all together! Full colour illustrations are a lovely addition and wonderfully drawn. Can't wait for the next one!

Nice paperback book for kids. One they can read on their own, depending on their age, or in my case, read to them! Fun adventure story, not too taxing to read. Good amount of colour pages and pictures to stand out and break up the story.

A great book for younger children. Croaky is a young frog who is desperate for adventures and in this book he finds them! He joins the Woggle Scouts thinking it'll be anything but adventurous - but he is wrong and all sorts of fun ensues as they head off looking fo Sasquatch. It's a well written book that has large print and great illustrations. Easily read to younger children or it is a good story for those starting to read to try out on their own. There's friendship and adventure - all in a great story that children will love!

As a fan of the Super Happy books, my child was always going to be interested in 'Croaky: Search for the Sasquatch' as it is illustrated and written by the same person, Matty Long. This is a longer form book that would suit a child moving on from the Happy books, although they themselves are for an older picture book crowd.'Croaky' is a funny story about an Indiana Jones like frog who is not that good at the job. It is full of silly events and illustrations that my child loved. They came down and quoted parts for me. It is a delightful book, but still noticeably short. It was a one and done for my child and they wished that it could be a longer experience. The book would work best for a reader who likes funny books and need a little more confidence as there are tons of images that work with the words.
Matty long is amazing
Seriously what an amazing story. I found a super happy magic forest in a discount book box long ago. Since then nothing has been the same. If you have a bit of imagination and love reading to your child, he is a must have author that definitely needs to be in your personal library.
