I find that books on a particular topic that seem to cause an issue/ nervousness with my 3.5 year old son really do the trick (dentist, school, dogs etc) - and in this case, it worked a treat for fear of the swimming pool, just prior to our pool-based holiday. Helped to a certain extent with his dislike of arm-bands too, since Peppa and her younger brother wear them in the book. Well-written and funny.

Peppa Pig is a favourite TV programme for our 2 year old. Toddlers often develop a fear of water, and swimming pools can become traumatic from being a fun activity. Our 2 year old even started to avoid bath-time, so we thought that this book might help him to continue his swimming activity.It was a great success. We procured arm bands and floats recommended by our ASA swimming coach and used the Peppa Pig Goes Swimming book to demonstrate how to wear them. He put them off at home and wouldn't take them off! So it was easy to get him to wear the floats and arm bands when we next went to the swimming pool, and I think we have just about got over this stage.The book itself is fun for young children but the stickers are permanent, so you only get to do this once. But the story is enjoyable and educational for toddlers, so worth investing in.

This is a charming book, suitable for a wide age-range. The pictures are colourful and immediately associated with the TV programme, but there is also a reasonable amount of text, which can be read aloud or, later, read by the child. My granddaughter, aged 21 months, loved it and will continue to benefit from it for months (even years) to come.

My son loves this book. It may be flimsy (paperback for a two year old, you must be joking!) but my son was very careful. The illustrations are bright and wonderful. The text font isn't great, however, the story is perfect. My son is currently going through a phase of hating water, so I hope the story will reassure him. He was very happy as I read it to him, and helped relax him before bed time. Pleased with the product but it may not last because of the flimsy pages.

This is the first time for my little boy using kindle, he can't seem to get to grips with it, but with the page turning animation it does make it look very realistic as a book. The book it's self is just like all the pepper books which my son loves, it's prob not the best of the stories but he seems to enjoy it.

This is basically a story book of the peppa pig episode where they go swimming but you need to complete each scene with the stickers provided. The stickers are grouped by page number so you know which go where and they are nice and big and lots of them. My 2 year old thought is was brilliant! Will probably repurchase!!
