About the Author
Tim Burton (Author, Illustrator)
Tim Burton was born and raised in Burbank, California. He attended the California Institute of the Arts and soon after became an animator at the Walt Disney Studios. He made his directorial debut with the animated short Vincent, which was narrated by Vincent Price. The film was a critical success and an award winner on the festival circuit. Burton's next in-house project was a live-action short film called Frankenweenie, an inventive and youthful twist on the Frankenstein legend, which was subsequently remade as a 3-D, stop-motion feature years later. After working on several films at Disney, he began directing his own projects, and his unique creative vision has since captured the imagination of millions of people the world over. His feature film debut was the highly imaginative and raucously funny Pee Wee's Big Adventure. Since then, he has directed such highly acclaimed films as Beetlejuice, Batman, Edward Scissorhands, Batman Returns, Ed Wood, Mars Attacks!, Sleepy Hollow, Planet of the Apes, Big Fish, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Corpse Bride, Alice in Wonderland, Frankenweenie and Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children.

I love The Nightmare Before Christmas. My niece loves The Nightmare Before Christmas. My nephew hasn't been introduced to it yet, and I can't wait to read this to him when we get into December. My niece will enjoy reading this to herself.This is a sweet little book, with delightful illustrations and entertaining rhymes throughout.

Boys and Girls of every age! This is the artwork and basic storyline idea from Tim Burton. This is not the book of the film - rather its what the film is somewhat based on. There is no Oogie Boogie. But its full of typical Burton charm and eeriness. Has a Dr Seuss air about it too at times. Its short and still fun, but as I say, its not like what you'd know from the film... or it is, but only loosely. Still a pleasure to have!PS: I love how while reviewing its asking me the age range of the child I bought this for - thank you I bought this for me and the wife, in our mid 30s haha!

En ingles, pasta blanda y bonitos dibujos
Lo tenía previamente en español, de Alfaguara y bastante mejor editado en pasta dura. Sí es cierto que éste es en inglés, con las rimas originales de Burton y por éso lo he comprado. Los dibujos son los mismos obviamente que la edición española y está en pasta blanda. Entonces.. ¿merece la pena si lo tienes en español? En mi caso sí, pues aunque los dibujos sean los mismo y esté editado en pasta blanda, el precio es poco, menos de 10 euros, y las rimas en inglés también nos gustan..Espero que haya sido útil mi valoración
