Purchased this guide ahead of our proposed visit later this year. Already its providing and wealth of information that make our visit even more tempting. Its a tourist guide book, which it does very well.
Not Useful
I have gotten these for my travel trips and ususally they are very helpful. However, the Florence guide was not great and the recco's for top 10's were not ones that seem relevant any more. I would pass on this and look on social media for recco's and in Florence, you really do not need a map. Other cities, this company's guides were more useful.
Full of information, easy to use, great maps
I bought this sturdy little book to prepare for a 2 week trip to Tuscany. It far exceeded expectations, it is full of clearly laid out information from sightseeing to ordering food, counting in Italian, traffic regulations, transportation, photos, maps, day trip suggestions, amazingly clear maps and much more.Small and sturdy it travels well in a purse or backpack. From now on I will always look for a DK Eyewitness guide when traveling.
