YES the roll is heavy - you get a LOT of paper!!YES the paper is very plain (no shine) - I personally prefer to add my own decoration rather than having it decided for me!!YES you need decent tape to seal the paper - it’s not the cheap and flimsy paper you find elsewhere!!And NO don’t buy it unless, like me, you love the impact of brown parcels as you’ll literally be storing it for years!!I’m just coming to the end of my first roll (I’ve bought two) and have wrapped birthday, Christmas, Easter, christening (etc) gifts up over the last 2 years and wanted to see how much I’d paid for it.Ignore the negative reviews here. It IS good quality paper and having now reminded myself of the cost it truly is exceptional value!!

When selecting a product to use in packaging its important to satisfy your core requirements and only one of those is price. In terms of packing paper the width of the roll and the weight of the paper are important to provide the protection and aesthetic qualities you want for your use case. This weight of paper is great for external wrapping of cardboard boxes and also great for wadding up for use inside the package to protect fragile items from movement. For the price this was good value and the product is consistent and of the quality i needed to package fragile items for sending all over the world. I would recommend this product for this use.

Unlike a lot of reviewers on here, I didn't buy this to wrap gifts, I bought mine for making sewing patterns that last longer than the flimsy tissue ones that you buy. I was not disappointed - surprised at the size of the roll - I'm not good at imagining the sizes of things (even when they are stated, I blame hubby for always telling me that 3" is a foot 😘🤣) anyway, the roll is enormous and, well, at 68 years old, it will see me out!Great value and will do the job I bought it for at a fraction of the price of 'proper' sewing pattern paper and far far stronger!Mine was also packed very well (unlike some of the other reviewers packages it seems), it was in a sturdy box (that was bigger than the courier (I thought it was a walking box until he popped his head around it) with plenty of padding and then in a strong plastic bag! I must add that I did have another item delivered with it, so that might explain the double packaging!

Really glad I bought this. Wanted a natural look for my classroom displays so went for this. It’s lovely and thick and hasn’t torn at all while putting it up. I thought 100m wouldn’t go far but I haven’t even used half of it. The roll will last me years!

Big heavy roll and in common with several other reviews I take the view that either end of the roll needs a plastic protector because mine had a little damage through knocks in delivery. Still good value. If wrapping big presents with it be aware it doesn't have a nice smooth surface, it has more of an industrial feel to it BUT it's quite strong and if you store it well it'll provide many years of domestic uses. Wow! Am a crafter and card maker and this paper is AMAZING, quantity does matter. This is the best brown paper I have ever ordered. Lovely grainy effect, but smooth enough surface. A super light to mid brown colour. Both sides are different shades, so you have a choice when card making. Also, the paper is not wound around a small centre roll, so it doesn't curl too much and I've had no problems gluing or double-siding it down flat. Excellent value. Would highly recommend.

I expected a more brown colour and this took a wee bit getting used to! However does the job and is strong i use it purely to wrap up parcels, 100 metres is easily enough for loads of parcels!

After buying this for general use. Putting over table as a cover when drawing. Putting on floor when raining to stop the pets dirtying up the carpet. Wrapping presents. Its endless uses and will be buying another once it finally runs out.

Produit conforme et reçu dans le délai indiqué.Il est très pratique pour relever des patrons en couture et résiste à des manipulations répétées.De bonne épaisseur, il se tient bien pour les découpe et l'épinglage (se déchire moins qu'un papier kraft plus fin).Il peut servir aussi pour de l'emballage. un de mes enfants s'en sert pour faire du dessin et choisir ainsi le format idéal pour son travail.Très satisfaite de ce produit.

Exactement ce que je cherchais, non ciré, solide et beau, se tient parfaitement, j'ai pu faire des petits pots pour mes plants de tomates et poivrons, le petit plus c'est le carton qui permet de dérouler ce qu'il nous faut pour découper si on n'a pas le dévidoir dédié
