5.0 out of 5 stars An interesting Read
This product arrived on time and was well packaged. I was really interested in reading this book and the view from an alternative health point. This marries well with quantum physics. I have been happy with dealings with the company in my transactions, which encourages me to do so in the future.
5.0 out of 5 stars O. Carl Simonton on steroids
Back in the late seventies, O. Carl Simonton (1942-2009) dared to propose cancer could be treated by relaxation and visualization techniques in his somewhat controversial book ‘Getting Well Again: Step-by-step, Self-help Guide to Overcoming Cancer for Patients and Their Families (1983). Now a more well-worn pathway, notably explored by the likes of Dr Joe Dispenza (Becoming Supernatural: How Common People Are Doing the Uncommon (2017)) and the documentary film Heal (2017). Both make a compelling case that through “changing one's perceptions, the human body can heal itself from any dis-ease”; and it would seem the idea of a missing link between psychology and biology to change subconscious programs is an emerging paradigm which, Isabelle points out, counteracts medical technology’s tendency to estrange people from listening to the intuitive connections inside their bodies. In the Bio-Breakthrough the overriding message is the “linking of illness as meaningful adaptative programs of survival” providing the health seeker with the possibility of obtaining agency in their healing process. By encouraging participation in their discovery of cancer, for example, as “an archaic mode of selection to ensure the survival of the species when the body’s survival is under threat of safety“, a willingness to take radical responsibility for one’s life circumstances is advanced - an acknowledged crucial mind-shift and fundamental tenet of alternative medicine.A new generation of groundbreaking healing concepts have developed out of the pioneering research work of Dr Ryke G. Hamer (and his ontogenetic diagnostic system), Marc Fréchet’s (the influence of parental conflicts experienced in fetal gestation plus how certain dates/events correspond to bio-memorised cellular cycles); and Anne Ancelin-Schutzenberger’s ‘psycho-biogenealogy’ - which hopefully should be evident from its name. These methodologies detail complex and often unusual linkages between a diagnosis and its causation promoting the conditions for another healing mind shift: the formulation of a unique and personalised clarity of objective for each health seeker’s invariant emotional conflict. In Dr Hamer’s approach, Maslow’s deficiency needs (i.e. of reproduction, of territorial boundary incursion, of nest anxiety (protection/jealousy), of loss or separation, of devaluation in esteem) supply the clinical focus to deconstruct specific health circumstances according to precise biological laws translated into “physical symptoms, behavioural issues and emotional imbalances as adaptive survival solutions.” A major paradigm put forward accounts for “the critical role that trapped emotions and embedded unconscious beliefs play in creating the energetic blockage that creates disease…according to imprints, conditioning, values, beliefs, upbringing, culture, traditions, religion, programming.” The primary healing hypothesis is once the trapped energy is released and beliefs updated, the disease has no more use and disappears.Isabelle has rendered her curation of established healing metaphors and signaturised them into a platform she calls Bioprogramming in her previous book. What possibly distinguishes her methodology from the more well established Biodecoding (Christian Fleche) and Total Biology (Dr Claude Sabbah) can be determined in Part 2, the soul of the book as Isabelle puts it. Eight carefully crafted chapters consist of a series of ‘breakthrough’ methods for resolving emotional conflicts (towards the future) after the aetiology of the illness has been successfully decoded in Part 1. The awareness solutions covered are to a large extent NLP based (arguably resting upon Robert Dilts’s shoulders and his key books on Beliefs). Further, an application of Korzbyski’s structural layers of meaning coded to illness as bio-syntaxes is a dominant theme through, and there is a mention of Gregory Bateson’s (1904-1980) ‘ecologies of the mind’ who proposed the theory of egoic-parts acting out “the needs and values we want to satisfy” which bears a striking resemblance to the IFS therapeutic model.Out of these methods changing one’s personal history along a timeline is adopted as another well recognised internal mind-shift to realise the wisdom gained from one’s childhood trauma after reprogramming (blessings/gifting) new emotional states of empathy with positive intentions (for what were once seen as limiting behaviours). Combining a well known NLP technique to elicit neutrality of highly charged material (i.e. Fast Phobia model), a process which adopts different vantage points, (Isabelle calls this the ‘notebook shift’) a change in the perception of the conflict are encouraged by “willing to question long-held views of ourselves, others, and the world.”The last chapter, creating one’s Circle of Health provides a healing checklist for working with and across the layers of previously explicated concepts by Hamer, Fréchet and Ancelin-Schutzenberger (expressed in a diagram of concentric rings): Circle 1 - the illness’s symbolic meaning as the triggering event turns into ‘new perception and beliefs’; Circle 2 - programming childhood event of younger self (inner child/exile) is provided with ‘new inner resources’; Circle 3 - uncovering Fréchet’s project purpose and decoupling one’s life project from that of one’s parents. This is achieved by offering them resources to form one’s own ‘new programs’; Circle 4 - “unlocking ancestral loyalties becomes “blueprints that do not belong to you” with the creation of ‘new mental maps’.O. Carl Simonton may be pleasantly vindicated today to find out the organ/tissue is not just being framed as both the messenger and manager of ‘secondary gain’ to a serious or chronic health issue; but that the unfulfilled needs of the inner child (the younger self as a vulnerable part) are reflected in a metaphorical language as biological connections made between intra-psychic parts of the personality and the expression of disease. If one listens carefully one can hear organ language figuratively played out as psychological patterns in common social intercourse. For example, in the comments section of the DM, today responding to the British Secretary of Health’s resignation, Anon from Durham stated: “I know how it feels to find out your husband is having an affair out of the blue…I literally couldn’t breathe for ages. It is the beginning of a roller coaster of emotions that will last for years to come but there is light at the end of the long dark tunnel.” All indications are Anon might have suffered stress, potentially to the point of ‘extreme functioning’ with a direct reference made in her own languaging to the lungs. Decoding using the Bio-Breakthrough Dictionary might draw a case diagnosis of “cell proliferation of pulmonary alveoli (tumour) symbolically provide extra lung to increase lung capacity during unmanageable stress.” In another example from Isabelle’s practice, a client’s despair about not being a pillar of strength resulted in back pain.In summing up, this is a persuasively written book that seeks to shed a light on scientific obscuration wrapped up in its myopic focus on “random chaotic DNA mutation…and pink ribbon acceptance.” The Bio-Breakthrough puts forward some challenging ideas which do not fit easily within the mainstram allopathic medical model, such as “treatment protocols are not tailored to active (conflict) or resolution (healing) phases of a disease, respecting laws of nature, and promoting emotional health.” Thus, this statement implies in not understanding the timing and purpose of cell multiplication there might be an “overdiagnosis from detecting tumours not malignant.” Therefore, as a caveat, some of the difficult concepts this book proposes, to realise for some, would need approaching with an air of investigation and an open mind.

Amazing book
Keys to Self-Healing
I am so empowered that I can take full responsibility to thrive beyond my well-being! This book is the owner's manual that didn't come with the body. It is a highly readable, concise, well written guidebook to otherwise complicated, dense, often counterintuitive story of humanity. It seems to contain a set of four keys to self-healing: the first key to open the door to let in the high self, the second key to the mind, the third to the brain, and the forth to the body.
Finally some answers that make me feel empowered
This is truly brilliant work. Well organized, actionable and very well written. I have been using the techniques to better understand myself, to evolve, to create a better life. Although I still find it quite challenging to change my current understanding of disease, everytime I investigate something using the ideas I read in this book, it holds true and I immediately feel things shifting. It surprised me at first, now I have more confidence to keep on looking for answers. Internal detective work, I call it, and it works!I am extremely grateful for this book and the insights it facilitates!!!
Illness caused by trauma
This book is well written and offers very useful tools to enable a person to hunt out the deep sources and find full understanding of the causes of many difficult illness. It does takes time to work through the chapters and practice the processes that are described. It is well worth the effort this takes to find the hidden keys that can release trauma from previous experiences that are affecting the unconscious survival processes of our human existence.
Profound wisdom on healing
Isabella’s work is cutting edge and leading the way into a new era of healing the human body! Through understanding the core issues involved in the creation of illness Isabella shows the way to resolve these conflicts and maintain sense of health and well-being. Thank you so much for this work it is truly a masterpiece
