It’s not brilliant but it’s a useful resource to whet the appetite. Some sections only make sense if you already know what it’s talking about. It assumes you have a programming package that didn’t come with my version of the raspberry software.

I prefer a more concise delivery, the authors ‘matey’ style may be ok with some of the intended audience, I just found it grating.

When ever I need to remember something, I open the books. Thank you.

The book has been republished recently and is therefore current with the pi4 and the most recent python libraries . This is the critical point for the new raspberry pi user. Yes you can find it all online, but only once you know what you are looking for. Catch22. This book walks you through from the very beginning and is ideal for the compete novice. Easy to read too
