4.0 out of 5 stars Kinda illustrated

The illustrations are beautiful obviously great writing. It was a gift but I wish there was more illustrations.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not really illustrated

G.H. · 6 October 2024

I was expecting a lot more from this. There’s hardly any illustrations, it is more just a giant printed text with a few illustrations scattered here and there. Quite disappointing.

A perfect new edition to the Hunger Games Trilogy

K. · 1 October 2024

This edition of The Hunger Games has vastly improved over the original copy due to the addition of illustrations. The depictions of rule and thrash are impressive, given the fact that the author has finally led to the idea of them being of African descent. It's also worth mentioning that Katniss Everdeen also appears not white as described in books. The best part about this edition is the large font used and the spacing between each sentence, which makes it much easier and more accessible to those who have problems with reading, such as dyslexia or some kinds of Visual impairments that make reading tiny font difficult.Overall, if this is your first time buying a Hunger Games book, I would highly recommend this book over any other edition.

I love it

I am a really big hunger games nerd and I was so excited when I saw this book was coming out if you are looking for a book with a lot of pictures then this might not be the best for you but it arrived today and I was overjoyed looking at all the pictures

YES YES YES YES

AMAZING, BEAUTIFUL, FLAWLESS ADDITION TO ANY HUNGER GAMES FAN COLLECTION

Disappointed

N.G. · 1 October 2024

I don't feel like the illustrations follow the book as much as the illustrator was going for. Effie looks like the wicked witch. President Snow looks like Kristoff. Thresh looks nothing like his description at all. I don't know if they were just trying to be vastly different from the movies but the characters just don't look right. I'm a huge Hunger Games fan and I was definitely hoping for better. Two stars because both of the pictures with Rue are incredible. If they illustrate the rest of the series, I will not buy them.

Amazing!

The book is of high quality and the illustrations match the book descriptions perfectly!
