This book is great for A levels and the answers are also included on the back of the book if you follow the link, I had the combined science one for my GCSEs and this one is full of great content!

It has a friendly format, and it does cover MOST of the content needed. However I can't help notice they do miss some crucial information on the some parts of the knowledge section, for example in the microscope section they do not go into enough depth about the properties and how to prepare slides

super glad i found this book! it’s hard to find A2 ocr a biology resources without being given them by a teacher since most things seem to be subscription access only, so this is really helpful! it has a number of different ways to revise and all AS & A2 content. i saw another review that said it doesn’t have the answers, which is true, but on the back there is the link to access them (images attached show this & the different features of the book)

I have been teaching A level Biology for 28 years. I only looked at 3 pages of the Photosynthesis section and spotted 5 mistakes! It worries me that students are looking at incorrect answers. The team need to rectify this and check other answers ASAP. I emailed the publishers months ago and have had no response!

This book is on the face of it, great. The style is good. The content is well explained and the questions are well designed, but... there are no answers to the questions! How are students supposed to know if they’ve answered them well or not? I would recommend this book AFTER they’ve published an answer book!

I personally love the recall sections which are great for a quick knowledge test on the basics you need to know, the practice questions are also very helpful.
