About this item:

THE NO. 1 SUNDAY TIMES BESTSELLER

Head back down to Clarkson Farm with the bestseller from our favourite welly-wearing wannabe farmer, Jeremy Clarkson
___________

Enthusiastic trainee farmer Jeremy Clarkson made just £144 in his first year at Diddly Squat Farm. This year he's determined to do better. Not because he now knows what he's doing. But because he's fed up of getting stick from Kaleb.

Yet farming continues to be a challenge.

For instance . . .
· Loading a grain trailer was more demanding than flying an Apache gunship?
· Cows were more dangerous than motor-racing?
· It's easier to get planning permission to build a nuclear plant than to turn a barn into a restaurant?

Jeremy's always got a plan. Loads of them. Often cunning.

Not always greeted with wild enthusiasm by Kaleb and Cheerful Charlie, however . . .

5.0 out of 5 stars Jeremy Clarkson hits with another winner

B.R. · 1 July 2024

Perhaps I am slightly biased as I am a massive Jeremy Clarkson fan and even more so of him as Farmer Clarkson rather than motor journalist.A brilliant easy reader. Due to the chapters being his weekly columns from the Sunday times they're nicely paced, you can read through a chapter while in the loo, before going to bed, waiting for dinner to cook or, take in a couple of chapters while sat relaxing at home or away.Jeremy offers a behind the scenes look at the goings on at Diddly Squat and the ongoing life and chaos of being a modern farmer in today's world. This book offers tears of both joy and pain as you go through the ups and downs of life on the farm. All the wit, humour and daftness of classic Clarkson.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great read

Very funny and good book took it on holiday

4.0 out of 5 stars What do you expect?...

o. · 13 August 2024

It's typical Clarkson and is a good read. Much of what you read you've probably seen in the series but there are a few little bits that provide a bit more insight. It loses a star for being quite pricey versus the number of pages, it could be better value.

5.0 out of 5 stars Entertaining and Hilarious!

T.J. · 12 October 2024

Hilarious and insightful look into Jeremy's life as a farmer. If you enjoyed Clarkson’s Farm, you’ll love this book! Clarkson's wit shines through as he shares the ups and downs of managing his farm, blending laugh-out-loud moments with real farming challenges. It’s packed with humor, unexpected lessons, and his usual no-nonsense style. Whether you’re into farming or just a fan of Clarkson, this book is a thoroughly entertaining read! Highly recommend!

5.0 out of 5 stars Very funny

As usual Clarkson doesn't pull any punches in this very amusing easy to read book, once again highlighting the huge financial pressures of farming today

5.0 out of 5 stars a great read

M.G.J.S. · 4 June 2024

A most entertaining and well written account of the difficulties of being or trying to be a farmer due to the million miles of red tape and incomprehensible rules to negotiate on every petty issue!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great accompaniment to Clarksons Farm TV show

T.C. · 14 July 2024

If you like Clarkson’s Farm on Prime Video you will like this. The same humour, pathos and human (& animal / countryside) interest stories. An easy read.

3.0 out of 5 stars This is NOT book 1 of 4…

J. · 9 September 2024

I have yet to read the book, but I’m sure it will be great. However, frustratingly, ‘Til the Cows Come Home’ is book 2 of the series. Book 1 is ‘A Year on the Farm’. Hopefully this post is helpful to others and Bolo will update the listing accordingly.

Hilarious

Fun read. Will be buying the others in the series.

Amusing and an easy read

S. · 8 May 2023

I first watched the tv series because I didn't know there was a book out. So reading the book after the show was actually a bonus for me because I could imagine everything he was writing about. It wasn't a word for word match of the show which was really good and I would definitely recommend this book. Loved it!

Pessimo imballaggio peccato per Jeremy

G.P.B. · 13 December 2022

Libro fantastico ma arrivato completamente privo di imballaggio e quindi malconcio. Molto malconcio. Bolo per favore iniziate nuovamente ad imballare correttamente i libri. Così è una vergogna.

Great!
