This is written in much the same vane as the maths version of this book, each subject is covered in a helpful diagramatic fashion. It is clearly presented and is split into the three subjects, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. It is aimed at those doing science in secondary school (I bought for my 13 year old) but my eldest son has looked at it whilst doing his A-Levels. It is wonderful for boys who learn mainly from pictures or can remember colourful patterns, they do not learn the same way as the girls.I think this book should be at home with every child. It helps parents to be able to talk through each item within the subjects clearly.Excellent guide, well worth the money.Buy the maths one also, its excellent too.

For parents and grand-parents who want to do the best for their offspring, these are ideal for helping with homework, catching-up with modern teaching, learning the “lingo” and revising. Typical of DK books, they are printed well in good bindings and the illustrations are clear, bright and interesting.

This series of books is excellent! We have most of the set now as we found them invaluable during lockdown. Great for parents too as it explains everything in a way that both children and adults can understand. Renewed my interest in learning. My daughter is 12 and she found the books were the best ones we have purchased. Worth getting.

This is an easy book for children to use on their own. It is also helpful for parents to understand what their child is studying. The three subjects, biology, chemistry and physics are clearly explained and useful for children in the early high school years.

Could anyone help me with the zoom in problem of this Ebook? the book is great, just the text too small even I use my MacBook as screen, and me and my kid still find it very hard to see the words. we need to put our face very close to the screen like sniff it to check the words.thanks for if anyone could help.

Excellent book however I’m disappointed that the book is not the revised edition as the title implies. This is the second book I bought that was not the revised edition as it says it is. I couldn’t be bothered to sent it back as the kids loved the book. Otherwise 5 starts.
