This is one of the best primary geography books I have come across in a long time. For all the non-specialist geography teachers out there, which is the majority of primary teachers, this book is absolutely fabulous! It is practical, sensible, concisely written. A must for every primary school teacher. -- Chrissy Holbrey, Senior Lecturer, Leeds Beckett University, Carnegie School of Education

I love this book because it’s so easy to read and incredibly helpful, I only got it 2 hours ago and I’ve already planned an entire unit! It has actual lesson ideas and planning help, rather than loads of research and jargon which is what you usually get! Absolutely brilliant, will have to invest in the rest of the series!

4.0 out of 5 stars Geography coordination

M.S.C. · 15 December 2019

I have recently been made the Geography coordinator, at my new school, although my degree is in History. This has been a great 'jump off' point for me, and we have ordered an additional 6 copies - one for each year group! Very useful in taking on the mindset of a Year One pupils and offering staff good 'kick off' points for their planning.
