For fans and followers of Jane’s recipes, these are the easier and simpler recipes that don’t take as long and require a lot less skill and fancy equipment. I’ve made two of the recipes from the book (plus some of the others which are on the website I’d also made previously) and both have been successes in terms of taste and flavour. The apple crumble cake being one and I made this yesterday after work and was serving it by 7pm.

I’ve always baked and cooked but the baking has let slide due to pressures of life! My first bake was the carrot cake which was simple to make and amazing to eat! Has renewed my love of baking. Lovely book, laid out really well and not tons of ingredients that you don’t have.

Great book and easy to use recipes. With a great structure to it really love the little symbols on bottom left so you can find what your looking for. Only reason not five is there are a couple of recipes that have been used again for example the school cake. Overall great book.
