Straightforward sightings, no crazy stuff

I appreciate these books because they simply chronicle the sightings of Sasquatch. Some people have built their little empires by preaching almost a religion or cult, complete with "chanelling" various "Bigfoot spirits" by name, referring to them as "our ancestral elders" and spirit guides...Needless to say, those types sell "experiences", conferences, basically they're selling a religious experience.It's maddening.If Bigfoot exists it's probably a solitary creature much like the gorilla (which was considered a myth until the early 1900s), or it's a hominid living alongside homo sapiens, like Neanderthal used to.After all, most people of European ethnicity have Neanderthal DNA as well as homo sapiens.

What to expect if you encounter one.

Interesting stories from ordinary people who have had direct encounters with Sasquatches. Many happened in Oregon. Sometimes Sasquatches kill people....early miners and timber-cutters. The book confirms what I suspected, that west coast Sasquatches are more confrontational and murderous than east coast ones. Book reveals their behavior.
