Very good workbook for doing exercises at home. There are no cumbersome explanations on theorethical basis. Explanations ar straight and simple. This is really a workbook. Introduction is concise with no chating on nothing. All the book consist of exercises explanations with black and white photos and of workouts that are set for special needs like basketball training or for those who's got back issues etc. Just workouts and nothing redundant. I presume this book is created more for home usage and so for big sports.

This is just what I needed as a newcomer to exercising with resistance bands. Clear, with lots of good photos & descriptions of the exercises. Not just for beginners though, lots of more challenging routines.

The cover of the book made me think that this would focus on the tubular bands, with handles, which is what I wanted. But most of the exercises feature Flat Bands (36) rather than the tubular (17). Also there are 4 exercises that require a ball (the type you sit on) and 5 exercises require dumb-bells. I tried to find a book that would focus on tubular bands by using the "Look Inside" but this only showed initial pages without showing any exercises. I guess that it would be easier to examine books in a shop, which is not possible, or send unsatisfactory books back to Bolo!!

A good book using resistance bands which target all the muscles. The instructions for each exercise are very well explained with black and white photos alongside. I would have preferred the photos to be in colour. Helpful information is given at the beginning of the book to get one started and to assist with working out a suitable programme for each individual. Alerts are given in some exercises for people who may have underlying medical conditions. Suitable for older individuals as well. A list of suggested exercises using the resistance band is given for aiding different sports.

Clearly explains different stretches with illustrations - categorises areas and issues too for specific targets to build up muscle/help.

Very useful exercises to activate basic parts of the muscular system that are weak in non-athletic and physically under-developed people, like the upper chest, abdominal and truncal muscles and upper limbs, and help give the proper posture mentioned in the book. It is worth buying as part of references for exercise. There are parts of my body that probably have never known exercises which some exercises are activating. Then other exercises become easier and fun rather than a dreaded chore. Also very portable equipment which can even be put into a pocket and done anywhere anytime.

The book shows how to do resistance band exercises and groups exercises for various sports and conditions. You can add or subtract exercises from your programme as you wish. Some exercises are shown with flat rubber bands and some with rubber cords that have handles l use the cords with handles. In the comments I read some criticism about some exercises shown with bands and some with cords you can use cords for the band exercises by gripping the cord in a suitable place without using the handles. I don't use the rubber ball or dumbbell exercises. I find that the band\cord exercises are easier on the joints than dumbbells and probably better for people with arthritis.

Excellent descriptions and pictures using different bands for agreat variety of exercises.
Would prefer color pictures and better paper quality but it is a big help for developing my exercise routine
Resistance band book
I like it for simple reasons. There is a beginner resistance workout. Looks good
