This is one of my favorite VU book for sure!Is good for student even if they are not using wunderkeys method book.Love the story line! And is good way to reinforce middle C position and note reading in a fun way!!

If I had to choose a "student saver" book of the year - this would be it. Hildegarde and her hapless habits of dopamine seeking online shopping was a fun surprise for teachers and students alike and had parents chuckling in the background.In addition to that, I literally had students shout in lessons. "I LOVE this book!" That's everything and it's been fun to see skills develop while building on success!

Not the best of the VU Books

I love using the VU books for my early piano students. However, this story is not as compelling as the others. Hildegard seems to be bored all the time, and unfortunately, the story comes off as being kind of boring! I recommend skipping this one and going to the next level. There are much better books in the VU Library.
