I have followed Harriet over a few years now and have 2 of her books and she never disappoints. Harriet is very clear in her wording and encourages folk to try and get results. I preordered this book and am excited when it arrived in October. It is printed on high standard paper and has an incredible amount of different arrangements. She has painted some flowers in arrangement or loose and in various vases. The object is to finish it off the way you want. Using outlines if you want to shadows or details in the leaves and flowers where you want to. So she has provided a base and the buyer chooses to finish the particular art piece in the way they choose too. Is excellent as it starts the project and some colours for you to begin with and is up to you to be as creative and detailed as you want it to be. Would be excellent for a person who is not sure if they are wanting to learn painting as you are half way there from page one. Will be very easy to decide if you want to learn right from the beginning of painting as it gives a person so many variations colours textures and designs to start off with. A wonderful book and is very reasonable for what it is all about. I love my purchase as there are small medium or larger projects depending on what you feel like doing. Having said that you can do 5-10 minutes and close the book and come back later or a few days later and you know exactly where you are. You won’t feel like you can’t complete a project as the finish is entirely up to what you choose. I hope Harriet brings out another book like this covering topics events like Easter Valentines Christmas Thanksgiving and any others a person chooses. Well done Harriet you never disappointed like normal your style is unique and beautiful 🤗

I love this new addition to my collection of art books by Harriet de Winton. I already have two other books by Harriet so I knew I would not be disappointed! Harriet takes you into a journey of colour and shape . each page offers watercolour shapes and the chance to interpret them into a beautiful design of your own. It offers many hours of enjoyment for all ages and a fascinating way to explore endless possibilities of using your own imagination. Highly recommend. you will not be disappointed!

Firstly, I have all of Hannahs books and they are all brilliant. This one is obviously different to the rest but is still fabulous. Have done the first page and enjoyed it so much. Just to have the freedom of creativity but without the stress of producing a picture from scratch. Even my husband wanted to have a go so i copied a page for him and we had a great afternoon and had a wonderful time. Please buy this book, you will not regret it.

Instant Stress Relief
I couldn't wait for this to come in! I love all of Harriet's books, but this one is particularly wonderful because you can't mess it up. It's just doodling what you see or what you think you might see. My girls love it too, no one is too young or inexperienced. I got the pens from her Etsy store and they're the perfect addition.
Reverse colouring: New escapade from routine life
Beautiful watercolour pattern blobs left for us to define, outline, shape and add details (fewer or elaborate, according to what you fancy).The book has 80 full-colour fascinating pages and some pages contain numerous projects while others are one full paintings on a full page.The abstract patterns ( not fully abstract though) of watercolour incite unlimited creative possibilities according to how you interpret each painting. It may take a few days or many months ( even a year) to finish this book.Overall it is very interesting and a new approach ( for me atleast) to art that is highly rejenuvating with a relaxed and mindful approach along with being a little mind triggering.I admire Harriet de Winton's art and her books are all wonderful. This book is definitely different from her watercolour books. However, it is a marvelous escape to those who would want to take small breaks from their routines( creative or otherwise)to venture into something calm and even lightly experimental. Must buy because it is very novel and very well presented.
Divertente e rilassante
Libro ben fatto con una carta molto buona. Come sempre Hariett De Winton non delude, questo libro ti condurrà in modo divertente e rilassante in un processo di "pittura al contrario": giochi di colori e macchie non distinte sfrutteranno la tua fantasia mentre ti divertirai a tracciare i contorni di fiori, cappelllini, palline e tutto ciò che solo tu saprai vedere! Buon Divertimento !
Lovely, relaxing, for everybody with a pen
I follow Harriet for quite some time now and have all her books and have learned so much. This one is different, but the good kind of different. It allows you to doodle (does anybody else do that all the time?) and create and let your mind wander and I did this while sitting on the sofa and listening to an audio book. It’s really lovely and I will be cheeky and give this to a lot of friends and family for Christmas!!
