About the Author

Pip (Philippa) Murphy is a British author who lived her early life in England on the Wirral. She has loved reading her whole life. She read every book in her primary school, some of them more than once!

Pip studied Classics at Edinburgh University, before relocating to Tokyo, Japan where she currently teaches English. She believes that humour and creativity are the best ways to learn.

Agatha, Christie, Auguste and their mother Clara are on the Green Express train that takes them to Paris and has a stop to split and change to Germany. Some confusion happens as they get kicked out of their own train car, but something is suspicious with the men that took it, the girls are on the case instantly.This was so much fun. I always love the mysteries with these girls so this was no exception it was incredibly fun and such an interesting way to have a mystery on a moving train, with mysterious crates in their train car. Christie wasn’t expecting a big mystery on her exciting train ride but she still had a great time solving it.I loved the introduction to the bad guys, how they each found them in different places and at different times and had to piece it all together. I really liked the inclusion of the two scientists of that era and how the girls met both and found out what one was doing to the other. I liked that they did it all just in time, it was a close one for time.I enjoyed the unique mystery and trying to solve it as the girls went along. It was really fun the way that they each got a piece of the mystery and got to put it together. I also really enjoyed that we got to meet an old nemesis, that really was just a beaten down young lad, but he ended up being helpful and a part of the team which was great.As always the illustrations in these books are stunning and I always adore them, from the setting and location, to the outfits, to the characters they are so perfect, they capture every aspect of the era so perfectly. I will always adore looking at the illustration in this series.What a wonderful addition to this series and another absolutely fun adventure mystery. I love this series and love seeing what the twins get up to next. If you haven’t read this series then you really need too as they are seriously so much fun. If you’ve read other in this series you need to read this one, it was such an incredibly fun addition.
