I’ve had a big mental block around making art for at least a decade since I did an art degree. Art used to be an enormous source of expression, fun, curiosity and support to me and I’ve felt very lost since.This book has prompted me to experience freedom and flow in the process again, and begin to release fears around the outcome. I love the idea of this book, The writer is very open about their experiences with mental health and art connecting together for them so it makes the book more personal.I feel this book is suitable for everyone whether you can or can’t draw or if you are open about your feelings or if you hold them in.I have started my book in bed feeling calm with a cup of tea and it is interesting to see what markings I have made however the beauty of this book is I can go back when I am feeling a different emotion and I can mark it in a different way.

Loved the exercises in this book. Don't feel you have to be able to "draw" to use this book, its all about mark making. The results that come from the well thought out prompts can be very revealing. Used it as an unwinding activity at the end of the day. Highly recommended.
