5.0 out of 5 stars Great fun

Love this boom. Is great fun and really gets the brain working in the later puzzles.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun way to pass a little time

This was a great little purchase. There are lots of puzzles to solve, some of them are quite easy, but others were too tricky for me and I had to look at the solutions in the back of the book to help me on my way. The storyline isn’t great but in fairness, the puzzles were and I guess that’s what we all bought the book for. Well worth the money, treat yourself.

4.0 out of 5 stars It's good but quite repetitive.

I. · 10 August 2024

A good way to make your cogs going. The riddles are somewhat similar to Sudoku, just without the numbers. I didn't care for the story. Repetitive and doesn't make much sense. Just did the riddles and it was quite enjoyable to give the brain some work.

5.0 out of 5 stars I am the detective now!

Honestly a lot of fun to do, it’s like cluedo but in a book and with a comical story linked to each crime scene!Perfect for those who just like a silly chill little mystery to solve, without being too difficult!

5.0 out of 5 stars Suspense, Mystery and endless hours of entertainment

The best Xmas present we got for our daughter (not the typical 10 year old) she loves solving puzzles, plays chess, sudoku, thrives in maths, can solve not just one but many rubiks cubes so when she was engaged in this book, it was a definite win! We saw the poster for book 2 in WH Smiths, and she was excited there was another once shes completed this one ... a must have for curious bright minds who love problem solving!

5.0 out of 5 stars Kind of hair for a kid

K. · 17 August 2024

My daughter love mystery and solving quizzes, but this one ist a bit too difficult for 7 y old

3.0 out of 5 stars Not enough or pointless information.

S.A. · 20 August 2024

I am so disappointed with this book. The first few are easy. I know they get harder as book progresses but many are impossible to solve as not enough info or needless info is given. In several of the scenarios the info for suspects gives, hair colour, suspects height and whether they are left or right handed, that is fair enough but info such as a star sign is given clues and evidence, yet for scenario 27 the star sign was not even mentioned in the clues, then further statements are issued but it is still impossible to work out the answers.I am usually good at this type of logic puzzles but these are impossible and I haven't even got to the supposedly hard ones yet.

5.0 out of 5 stars Enjoyable

I really enjoyed working through the puzzles even though the book has not been finished. I took this book abroad with me and really does help relax the mind. THe writer is incredibly clever to think of the scenarios, characters and situations. THe gradual increase in difficulty was clever and helps you work. There are hints which i did use in the intermediate and beyond stages. I cannot wait to start the next book once this has been completed.

Great book and very addictive

I.P. · 4 September 2024

It's been 2 days that I have bought the book and it is great. Each page tingles the analytical side of your brain and the fun and breezy way the book is written just adds to the experience. Really addictive and fun experience so far. The quality of the book and the pages are great as well!! Don't know I haven't come across such books before!! 🤭

Addictive and so much fun!

H. · 14 October 2023

Me and my partner are always looking for new activities to do together and now that autumn has started weekends with breakfast in bed and solving some of these have really been so much fun and added that extra thing to get us out of a rut (just watching netflix or whatever). It's really good with an activity you have to do together. So this was an amazing addition to our list of activities for when we have time dedicated to do things together :)

Brilliant design

O.l. · 24 June 2024

The visual design of the puzzle book is so well done, and the puzzles are great too. I tried to look up the graphic designer as I was so impressed but I can’t find a reference to them anywhere - not in the book or website, which is a bit disappointing as it’s such stellar work. Graphic designer - I see you. WELL DONE

This is a cheap copy made in India

b. · 5 January 2024

This is a cheap copy made in India. They should mention this info properly. The paper quality is not good.

Repetitive

B.R. · 25 July 2024

I was expecting more narrative and more thought in the murder mysteries. Instead, this is the same mechanically solved puzzle with slightly different details over and over again.
