Celebrating her 45th birthday at her local pub, podcaster Alix Summer crosses paths with an unassuming woman called Josie Fair. Josie is also celebrating her 45th.
A few days later, they bump into each other again, this time outside Alix's children's school. Josie says she thinks she would be an interesting subject for Alix's podcast. She is, she tells Alix, on the cusp of great changes in her life.

A brilliant story of two women, Alix and Josie,linked by having been born in the same day, in the same hospital, brought together on their birthdays 45 years later with tragic results. So beautifully written, drawing you in with every word, line…….and truth or lie? So many twists and turns. Cleverly interspersed with excerpts from the recordings. Totally worth reading.

I really enjoyed this story. It's one of those that left me wanting more and still leaves you uncertain about some of the assumptions you have made. The plot moves along at a fair pace and does not really take a dip at any point.Give it a go; I'm confident you'll like it.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Difficult to put down. Lisa Jewell writes well. The book shows that you will only be told what a person wants you to believe about them. We are all actors on a stage.

I really enjoyed this book......until the last 1/4.It is very well written and the way the characters are written genuinely give me chills however this was let down a little by the end. The ending felt rushed, chaotic and not complete.With that I mind I have dropped a star however it is a good read and well worth your time

This is not my usual type of read at all but it came highly recommended so I thought, why not!Loved every minute, truly captivating, the darkness, the twists and turns. Must read for everyone and hope it really does get made into a series!

Wow, this book was gripping. I loved the originality of the story. We are not only told the events through the eyes of both Alix and Josie but also by the unfolding of the podcast. Therefore other character's perspectives are brought in, providing a very clever and interesting way to narrate the book - and there is a lot to narrate. 'NONE OF THIS IS TRUE' is fast-paced, exciting and utterly absorbing. I could really picture and believe everything that was happening. Would highly recommend.

Lisa Jewell has a masterful way of telling a,story with many twists and turns . This book dies not disappoint. There are many twists in this plot and as usual no one is entirely innocent. My only complaint is the way the story ends. Great read!!

This book was incredible. I’ve read some amazing novels this year and this is easily in my top three. So many twists! I didn’t ever know what was going to happen next. No cliches or tropes in this one, folks. Do yourself a favour and make this your next read!
