This is a really good book that is very practical and easy to apply in my everyday life. I bought the book to help me control my diabetes 2 better. It was easy to follow the 4 week plan presented here and now I am preferring this lifestyle, so I’ll stick with it. My glucose levels are much steadier than they’ve been for years.

If you listen to an interview with the author,then you already know everything;or if you read her previous book. This book doesn’t deliver any new information. It’s more of a diary/recipe book. Which isn’t bad,just not what I expe. I tried a few recipes and they are not bad at all. Luxuriously made cooking book.And if that’s helpful, have been doing that method for about 6 months now and works. Especially with menopause. As soon as I stopped the sugar (I also don’t eat ultra processed food) there are no menopause tiredness and hot flashes. Unfortunately, gained quite a bit of weight as I almost doubled the amount of food,having to eat salad with every meal. Takes more time too,however, good book,great advice,great diet.

So delicious. So easy. Visually beautiful with actual photos of the ingredients. I think I could bin all my many other cookbooks bar Sabrina Ghayour whom I love also. If you buy one cookbook buy this. It makes life easier. Please keep making them in this format Jessie. And very well done.

Don’t get the kindle version
I only returned this book because I got it in a kindle version. Having the expectation that it is mainly information but it turned out more a cookbook. Which in my opinion should be in print so you can enjoy the visuals in colour as well.

I learnt a lot from her views, the recepies are good and the method really works! I've combined it with measuring my sugar levels so I have proof!
