As someone that has worked in the sports industry for over 30 years (and continues to work in high performance), this book brings together some world-class minds and distils information that all athletes NEED to know. In particular, enjoyed the section by Sacha Fulton.

I'm a longtime and avid fitness person (HIIT, running, yoga, cycling), and I found this collection of unique chapters to be provocative and inspiring. In the midst of my workouts, when I find my energy falling, I find myself thinking of the writer in this book who is a Para-Olympian medalist and his grit and determination, and I'm able to dig deeper and finish strong. I'm inspired by the writer who is a high school track runner who was moved to totally advance his time by the H Ford quote, "Whether you think you can or you think you can't, you're right." These collection of essays by athletes, coaches, and other fitness experts have given me a keen awareness of the role my attitude, mentality, and intention play in the success (or lack of success) of my workouts, and really--in all areas of my life. If you want motivating and heart-felt insights and stories to help you move from pretty good to great, particularly in your area of sport and fitness (but beyond as well), then I highly recommend this book.
