I bought this as a little 40th birthday gift for myself. I'm a huge fan of NBX and have a shelf dedicated to the figures - this set made for great additions and only cost around £5, which was a decent price for the figures alone - I didn't keep the book part, but if I'd given to my 5 year old nephew the full set would have been a great gift.

The" story " is more a description of the characters . The book itself is sturdy and figures are robust but can't see the point if there is no story about the Nightmare before Xmas to read to the child

Halloween books
My granddaughter and I played with this for a couple of hours, she absolutely loves it !
Perfect for the whole family!
The media could not be loaded. My toddler is obsessed with Halloween and the nightmare before Christmas, but we couldn’t find too many toys that were Jack Skellington related. I found this and it’s perfect. He also loves to read and loves the little figurines and plays with the figurines as we read and puts them out on the book as the characters appear in the story. and it even comes with the map of the town, that the characters can play on as well. We are so happy with this purchase.
Baby shower gift
We were asked to bring books instead of cards to a baby shower. One of the books mommy selected was Nightmare Before Christmas. I just added the busy book along with it.
