I bought the Foundation series set and am some way through Foundation, the original volume. At one point the editor, if there was one, appears to have fallen asleep. The surname Sutt (the correct spelling) sometime appears as Sun, and the second half of one sentence is repeated. I first read Foundation (a bound copy I got from the local library) some years ago; given my views about writing I would definitely have picked up these errors if they had been present then. So I'm puzzled about the source of the text in this edition - I wonder if it was scanned from a printed version and inadequately checked.

It will never age as the story lines are very different from all any other Sci FI. It is the work of a Genius, and after reading it 3 or 4 times, I am ready to go for it again... and again in a few years...Asimov died a few weeks after publishing the last Foundation book, number 7 and like many who read hi books, he definitely had to finish the story in a superb way...There are quite a few excellent Sci Fi writers now, but this series of books has not found any equal yet.

The story was amazing, classic Asimov! The only thing is that there was a dent on the spine of one of the books, probably due to shipping.

It's a nicely presented set,complete with the original cover artwork. I'm really happy with the set and will certainly buy from this seller again in the future. It was well packaged and arrived in perfect condition, which when coming from overseas *delivery to Australia - can sometimes not be the case.
