I was a little wary of this product at first feeling that it might be a marketing ploy - ie. sticking a well-respected name on a less than wonderful low-end product. I already own a Bushnell spotting scope and while I love it - and while it does work very well on a tripod for example - I wanted a decent pair of general purpose binoculars giving me good close-focus distance as well as clear distance viewing. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on these but decided to try to find if decent optical quality on a budget product was possible. I also wanted binoculars which could withstand the general rough and tumble of life without the 'kid gloves' treatment expensive optics seem to foster.This product is first and foremost a true Bushnell. Optical quality is superb and the 'instant focusing' mechanism is clever, simple and easy to get used to. The strap and carrying bag are just about adequate and I may change these myself for something better. However the 'guts 'of the binoculars - the build quality and the optical quality is terrific. Focusing is silky smooth and accurate and the optics are Bushnell quality optics.For the price these are a steal. Ideal for bird-watching, general purpose use etc. A Best Buy in my opinion and well deserving of a five star rating. Highly recommended.

Whilst the binoculars are generally Ok, I fell for the headline description being different to the detailed description. The headline offers a staggering field of view of 300m at 1000m, and is a large part of why I bought these. The correct field, as detailed on the box, and the "scroll down for detailed description" is 300ft at 1000 yards. Quite a difference!

So far so good ive tried them in my local park ... But initially bought for my safari. These are a lot lighter than I thought. And focusing is Sharp and precise. Great buy.

ho comprato questo binocolo per i miei figli, io sono abituato a binocoli di fascia alta, ma questo se la cava bene, la qualita' non e' eccezionale ma fa bene il suo dovere. Buoni ingrandimenti, luminosita' accettabile, focus cosi cosi ma accettabile.Buon rapporto qualita' prezzo, a 55 euro non ci si puo' aspettare molto di piu.
