I purchased a salt & pepper grinder over 25 years ago and cannot express how good these are. Unfortunately my pepper mill stopped grinding so I ordered a new complete pepper mill as above. These are the best products I have ever had and I would be lost without them

I have had two of these mills for about 10 years used for salt and pepper and they are still functioning perfectly. It is very easy to adjust the grind setting and having the grinder on the top of the base means no mess in your cupboard or on the table. I recently dropped the salt mill and smashed the glass base. I was delighted to find out that I could obtain an exact replacement base at a reasonable cost. I decided to order another complete mill that I can use for spices

Our last WMF mill lasted 17 years before its plastic outer ring split; but its ceramic grinder is as good as ever - we have taped this up for use in the kitchen. We have bought this new grinder for the table, and expect that with its stainless steel ring, it will last at least 20 years.

I would highly recommend that you do not purchase any of these WMF grinders. They are not the same quality as their other products - of which I have used many - colander, whisks, garlic crusher, vegetable peeler etc I found all of these products to be excellent quality but my issue with these mills are that they are expensive and do not last longer than two years. Ignore the part where it states a 10 year guarantee as Bolo only guarantee the purchase for two years and using their Customer Service was an absolute waste of time and effort. They referred me to the manufacturer, who in turn referred me back to Bolo but I couldn't face another on line discussion with someone who wasn't really paying attention to the issue and kept saying that as the purchase was over two years old - they could not assist me. The mills had already been replaced so were not even two years old but that argument was ignored. I have since found out that WMF were sold to Groupe SEB at the end of 2016. Their idea of Customer Service is to tell you that "they do not currently have any distribution outlets in the UK, nor product or spare parts stock, so are not in a position to be able to help you with your enquiry"In effect you are paying £30 for a product that you can expect to last you two years at most before the grinders start to leave metal deposits in your food as the mechanism starts to disintegrate.One extremely disappointed customer in both the product and customer service received.

A superior pepper mill
Lots of pepper mills look like this, but most have a fairly flat grinding surface (small) and get clogged up and deliver only small amounts of pepper. This mill has a conical grinding surface with far more surface area, allowing it to deliver more pepper and with a greater adjustment in grain size.This is a truly superior pepper mill -- we got another that looked similar prior to this ... and having seen this one at a friend's house, we realized that we were missing out on a far better pepper mill. Yes, it's more expensive, but it's definitely worth it.

What a culinary enhancement through this device!
I purchased this deluxe spice grinder as a gift for my husband. His birthday is not until early March of 2021. Therefore I cannot speak yet as to how well it functions technically. But I can say that I purchased this item after being privileged enough to taste dried red chili peppers ground through a similar mill to top a homemade pizza. It was a revelation! Much superior in taste sensation and texture to the typical red pepper flakes. I am looking forward to sharing this flavor enhancement through this device with my husband.
