    I bought this as a present for my mums birthday and she said she wished i had got it sooner.Cooking time for her has shortened considerably and she loves the way the meat shreds of the bone!!Good sturdy quality!!

    This is my latest and probably last pressure cooker. I have cooked with these for about 50 years and this has been the easiest and best. My own is now ten years old and looks as good as new. I have just bought one for my daughter as a special present and she too is thrilled with it. THE original method of ‘healthy’ cooking, it cannot be beaten. They no longer come with an inner basket (I use an old one) but you can use the basket to put different veg to cook on top of the lower ones and all the veg be done at once. Good fifty years ago, perfect for BIG healthy family dinners in this latest century.

    I LOVE my new kuhn rikon pressure cooker, looks sleek, beautiful and makes my kitchen look like a professionals. Made some amazing beef and lamb dishes which were oh so tender and this really feels safe. I have used instant pot before and they are hard to clean and bulky. I prefer using this as you have the safety feature and can put it away after. However, I've noticed the base is not so clean after scrubbing with a green sponge, apparently cannot use metal scourer so what do I do to clean the base? I'm kinda disappointed the base isn't just stainless steel that you can use a scourer with....that part was a little misleading. However would still recommend if you can find out how to clean the base!

    I am new to pressure cookers, but I figured that once I bought one, I would have it for many years to come, so I decided to go for a good one. And this is a good one.I've made a few meals now and it does a very good job for recipes that normally take a long cooking time such as stews and curries. You need to add some of your ingredients in a slightly different order, such as adding thickening agent at the end of the cook, You also absolutely can't 'look in' to see how your recipe is going. But after reading a few recipes in a pressure cooker recipe book that I got at the same time, you get the idea of how you do things. I also saw some YouTube videos which gave me a steer of how you go about cooking with it.I am happy with my purchase and, although I am not using it a often as I thought I would be using it, when I do need it, I am glad I have it at hand. It's a good pressure cooker.

    Nothing to complain about. Quiet in use, easy to clean, spare parts are readily available. Super efficient use of energy and highly recommended. Not cheap when compared with others but you really do get what you pay for. Swiss quality of manufacture and great customer support.

    well, the product itself is fantastic! Fair price too. I have one and had a prestige before, this knocks spots off it for ease of use, so i ordered this as a birthday present for my daughter - nearly four weeks ago! and it still has not arrived, and i have not received any comms from the seller.buy it from somewhere else.

    This is a good family sized pot. I can easily batch cook for the week - and also make supper quickly!! I really like that cooking times are much reduced - beef stewing cuts takes 10-15 minutes to become tender as apposed to 2 hours! We use it a lot for currys and stews and with the nights drawing in thats happening more and more. It seems to take a bit longer to get to pressure than my old tefal but no complaints so far. It came with a small tray - not quite a trivet - that rests on the bottom not used yet. Kuron have an app that gives recipe suggestions and timings. It hs uickly become a staple tool in the kitchen - as trustworthy as the 20 yr old le creuset pots its sits next too. Lets hope it lasts as long

    Never had a pressure cooker before as was scared of them due to an incident when I was young. I do alot of cooking and wanted to start eating more pulses but they just take too long to cook. Friend recommended buying a pressure cooker which she uses all the time. I was coverted especially after reading a review online about second generation pressure cookers which are 100% safe. I decided to go for the best and purchased Kuhn Rikon Duromatic pressure cooker. Now eating more pulses which taste much better than tinned products. Also I like the fact that meat dishes only take a fraction of the time to prepare and still taste good. The Kuhn Rikon pressure cooker is very well made, high quality product. I wish I had bought it sooner!!!

    Si estás valorando comprar una olla express y ésta te parece cara ya te respondo: junta un poco más de dinero y compra ésta que va a ser algo para toda la vida. Ten en cuenta además que esta es una olla superápida, que no es lo mismo que una olla a presión, aunque en principio lo parezca.La olla es super sencilla de usar, super silenciosa y da unos resultados increíbles. La uso principalmente para hacer tonkotsu ramen y es que prácticamente deshace toda la verdura y cerdo en caldo. El fuego lo pongo al 2, lo que quiere decir que la eficiencia a nivel energético es extrema.Creo que hasta que no la tienes es difícil valorar la eficiencia y la construcción y entiendo que duela gastar 50-70 euros más que en una olla express más sencilla (y más lenta, y con menos aprovechamiento debido al sellado) pero te aseguro que cuando la compras parece hasta barata.

    Vale i soldi che costa, silenziosa e non emette vapore se regoli bene il fornello. Comoda la chiusura e apertura, e cucina in breve tempo. Spero si mantenga così nel tempo.

    so far I really like this pressure cooker, which is good because it is expensive!it replaced a fagor duo, that died because a plastic part broke and the company went bust, so no spares available. I'm pretty confident this company won't go bust, so spares will always be available. they have a much more diverse product range and a great reputation.in terms of operation: I like the steam release options. also, the valve is very efficient and quiet - once at pressure you can reduce your burner to almost minimum. the lid closure is very simple and easy.this 6L size is perfect for around 5 generous serving sizes of curry, for example.I am slightly concerned with the cosmetic steel vent cover. it is held on with plastic clips and seems fragile. I know others have broken this, so I will treat it with kid gloves. I also know this part doesn't effect operation or safety, so I'm not super worried.probably should have just bought this in the 1st place!
