We had one from “Homepride” it only lasted 26 years. It eventually snapped, but it was so useful, we wanted another one just like it. This does the job admirably.

I was dubious about the ability of this, essentially, piece of plastic, to hold larger cookbooks but it's pretty good! Might struggle with some of the much larger hardbacks but it's great for my heavier paperbacks. Highly recommended. Sort of flexes and bends back into shape after use. Wipe clean and easy to store being slimline.

This neat little cookbook stand has made my life A LOT easier in the kitchen! Not only does it prop them upright and open at the right page, but it protects them from splashes. I keep mine on the windowsill while I cook. I like the way the clear acrylic material is virtually invisible, so all you see is the book inside.Buyers should note, though, that it's best suited to smaller cookbooks. My favourite one is roughly 15cm x 23cm x 1cm, which fits perfectly. Larger books may not be completely protected from splashes, and very thick books may not fit in at all - although the stand does have a little bit of 'give' in it.

Great for seeing recipes whilst keeping my cookbooks clean. It doesn't cover the whole book but that isn't a problem. Unfortunately I dropped mine out of a cupboard and it cracked but I taped it up and it still works fine.

This is such a simple gadget, if you can call it a gadget. It holds pretty much any of my recipe books open up the right page but protect them from slashes. I bought it for my daughter to use while baking because all my cookbooks we’re getting a bit tatty and destroyed! She’s a bit haphazard in the kitchen. She loves it and it means a bit more room on the counter for her to bake. What’s nice about it is that I can put it on the windowsill and it doesn’t block any light or even this is such a simple gadget, if you can call it a gadget. We've wanted a cookbook stand for ages but didn't want anything too big but also wanted to be able to keep the books in good condition whilst cooking. I'm messy and get stuff everywhere.This stand fits the bill perfectly. The acrylic makes it easy to wipe down should anything get spilt and is sturdy. All of our cook books fit in nicely.Looks wise it may not be everyone's cup of tea but it fits in decor nicely.
