This product is a staple in any aquarium owner, and likely needs no explanation. However, most probably just use it as water preparation before a water change. However, when fish are showing signs of stress, this can be a miracle worker when paired with other anti-stress mechanisms.The price value is great too. I've seen smaller bottles cost more than this bottle. The size is also not too big that it becomes inconvenient to store or use.The cap has a built in measuring mechanism, with marks for 1ml, 5ml, and 10ml.

We had a rescue fish that had been alone in a 12L tank all his life, we transferred him to a 60L with a filter and we also got him a new friend as goldfish are community fish. He did not take well to this, he started hiding, swiming irratically. Bashing off the sides of the glass and developed fin rot.I purchased this before removing the new fish in hopes we could keep them both happy and healthy together.I can tell you now.... IT WORKS!!!We added it after a 30% water change and the older fish came out of hiding within 15 minutes.The new fish also chilled out as he was a little excited.Fin rot has STOPPED and not spread to the other fish.At 3 days in both are looking healthy and happy swimming together.I swear by this, amazing stuff!
Cheap insurance to have beautiful and healthy fish!
The media could not be loaded. I use this in my small pond and my aquariums.Whenever I add new fish I use API Stress Coat.I get a lot of my pond and aquarium fish shipped to me.Sometimes fish can get injured from the packing and shipping process. Plus it does stress them out a lot.I use API Stress Coat every time I add fish to my pond or aquariums, and as of now I have a 100% success rate. The fish just thrive.I use it as directed and I have peace of mind.In addition, buying pond and aquarium fish, especially on-line can be expensive. Especially when shipping costs are added.Using API Stress Coat is cheap insurance.I would rather use API Stress Coat and be proactive rather than having to cure an injured and / or sick fish.IMHO, it's worth it.(Oh yeah. I thought I'd point out that the Sarasa Goldfish and Shubunkin Goldfish you see in the pictures were purchased here on Bolo. We bought them from Toledo Goldfish right here. Beautiful and healthy fish. This is not a plug for Toledo Goldfish. Just an FYI if you are looking for beautiful and healthy goldfish.)
Effective, but Tiny Bottle
API Stress Coat is fantastic for my aquarium, but the 1-ounce bottle is pretty small. It works well for conditioning water and protecting fish, but it’s easy to go through it quickly.
I WILL CONTINUE TO BUY!!
Some of my plants had brown tips. Told that they had chlorin poison. Since using this product all my plants are now beautiful w/no more brown tips on new leaves. I use10 litres of water with 2 tblspns of this product. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
