    You get what you pay for. So I decided to stop replacing cheap pots with something more substantial. Alas, this one seems to be developing some nice rust at the bottom of the insert after a few weeks and maybe 10 or 15 uses so in this case it looks like I got the same kind of pot I had before but at about five times the price. Good on me, this should go back however.

    Der Topf ist von WMF und folglich nicht billig. Die Qualität ist dafür, wenn auch nicht überragend, auch ganz in Ordnung, wobei ich zugebe, dass ich meine Töpfe nicht mit dem Mikroskop nach Fleckchen absuche, sondern nur zum Kochen verwende - und das oft. Wir essen gerne und häufig Pasta. Das werden wir aus diesem Topf noch viele Jahre tun können.Die Größe des Topfes ist mit 7 Litern über dem bei anderen Marken üblichen Schnitt von 4 bis 5 Litern. Da man für 100 Gramm Pasta einen Liter Wasser nehmen sollte, reicht dieser Topf für 700 Gramm. Man kann zwar etwas mehr hineintun, aber dann haben die Nudeln weniger Platz zum Tänzeln und drohen vermehrt, zusammenzukleben. Schade, dass es keinen Topf mit 10 Litern Inhalt gibt. Man hat ja auch mal Gäste...Besondere Erwähnung verdient noch der Rand unter dem Siebeinsatz. Der sorgt dafür, dass Topf und Einsatz am Rand nicht aufeinander liegen, wie bei anderen Modellen üblich. Dadurch kocht dieser Topf nicht chronisch über. Vielleicht hat bei WMF mal jemand einen Topf entworfen, der auch schon mal gekocht hat.

    Très peu de buée sort grace au couvercle, qui tient bien grace à son poids, et a l'avantage d'être transparent.Pas débordements même à ébullition.L'égouttoir permet de retirer les pâtes ou les légumes très facilement sans se brûler, et aussi de faire cuire à la vapeur si on le souhaite, car il est décollé de plusieurs cm du fond de cuve, et on peut donc mettre un fond avec de l'eau.Rentre juste avec les assiettes dans mon lave-vaisselle, alors qu'un modèle plus grande n'aurait pas convenu. Utile pour d'assez grosses quantitées, un modèle plus petit est suffisant même pour faire des pâtes pour 6 ou 8...
