I decided to treat myself to this brush after reading about it in a magazine. I have long thick hair which needs a paddle brush to blow dry it to get it as straight as possible before using my straighteners. This brush is fantastic it is made from a lovely wood with a rubber handle. When you brush your hair the brush itself is really padded and the bristles massage the scalp while gently detangling the hair. I have noticed a huge difference after blowdrying with this brush my hair is smoother and sleeker than from the cheap brush I was using before. It is definitely worth the extra money for the quality.

An excellent brush.I know, it's a hairbrush. How different can it be to any other hairbrush?You're probably right. But I'd still buy it againI like this brush because I have a lot of very thick hair ,and it goes through all the knots quickly and feels good afterwards. The quality of the product is evident and it's easy to grip and handle. It's air cushioned, which means there's less pull on the hair itself.TL;DR - Nice quality, does the job it's supposed to.

Ive been using this brush for quite some time now - it is the most money I have paid for a brush. It works well and does the job and is comfortable in my hand and on my head when brushing. Im not sure how much taming it does but it is nice enough and would buy again.

I’ve had numerous plastic paddle brushes but they all seem to break either from the bristles coming out or the handle becomes brittle, so I decided to treat myself to this lovely Kent one. I’ve had it several months now I use it regularly on my very long, very thick naturally wavy unruly hair and it gets through every strand no problem, taming my hair into a smooth crowning glory instead of my natural frizzy mop and not one bristle has come out or any other sign of wear, so I’d happily recommend it.

After just under three years' light use, the rubber pin base is all split and now needs replacing.Not impressed - my previous Body Shop brush (half the price) lasted twice as long ...The shaft, paddle and underneath are hardly worn, but the pin-grip is not fit for purpose.Disappointed - would ideally like a new one!!
