Optimum Nutrition is one of my first whey proteins to try and I always go back to it. It is up there as my favourite because of it's texture, taste and impact. I would give it a solid 5/5 for all 3 of these categories.The texture is smooth, with it being able to blend and mix extremely well with your choice of liquid. I personally believe it's best with milk but over time, I have steered to taking whey with water as I want to limit my dairy intake.I noticed quickly that the quality of this product and me using it on a daily basis before/after a workout or even throughout my days, has made a massive impact in my ability to recover and grow. The high protein amount per scoop is phenomenal and so is the value for money with each one of these containers.I've used and tried a lot of flavours but you can't go wrong with anything vanilla.. it's just that delicious.

I have been using Gold Standard Whey for almost 10 years now, and the extreme milk chocolate flavour is definitely one of my favourites. It has a really good chocolate taste, kind of like chocolate milk and I’ve always found this brand trustworthy, so I’ve stuck with it. While it’s not my main protein these days, I still enjoy having it every once in a while.Each scoop has 120 calories, 1.5 grams of fat, 3 grams of carbs (1 gram fibre, 2 grams sugar), and 24 grams of protein. The macronutrient profile is solid, and it’s made up of a blend of proteins, including whey protein isolate, whey protein concentrate, and whey peptides.Mixing it up is easy, and it smells great as soon as you open it, a nice chocolate aroma without being too sweet or overpowering. It’s smooth and has a good texture, and I like the chocolate flavour intensity, it’s got just the right balance, not too strong or weak. I’d call it the Goldilocks of chocolate flavours, if you will.On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d give this flavour an 8.5 out of 10. If you’re looking for a tasty, reliable chocolate protein, I’d definitely recommend trying the extreme milk Chocolate flavour. Cheers, and happy mixing!

The powder mixes really well with both milk and water leaving no lumps and tastes really good too. Low calories per serving and a decent amount of protein. Big tub with plenty of servings so great value per portion and has helped with recovery and hitting my protein targets!

Good alternative for those who liked double chocolate flavor
It's a well known brand and best quality product.I previously tried vanilla ice cream flavor which I did not like, and then switched to double chocolate which was pretty good. This one appeared to be even better than double chocolate (at least to my taste buds), so highly recommended.There is a plastic scoop inside if you are buying this for the first time.
