Let's get this straight: the Coleman Unleaded Double Burner Fuel Stove isn't for everyone. It's not the sleekest, cleanest, or easiest camping stove on the market. But for those who value rugged reliability, fuel flexibility, and old-school camping charm, it's a legend for a reason. The Good:Built like a tank: This stove feels like it could survive a zombie apocalypse. The metal construction is sturdy, and the whole thing folds up into a compact, self-contained unit.Burns just about anything: Unleaded gasoline, Coleman fuel, even white gas – this stove isn't picky. This fuel flexibility is a huge advantage in remote areas or for preppers.Heat for days: Forget wimpy simmering. This stove cranks out serious BTUs, boiling water in minutes and searing steaks to perfection.Windshield warriors: Those built-in windshields are no joke. They deflect gusts like a champ, ensuring consistent cooking even in blustery conditions.Folding oven buddy: Perfect pairing with the Coleman folding oven for complete camp kitchen domination. The Grumbles:Fiddly friend: It's not a point-and-click operation. Priming the pump, adjusting the pressure, getting that perfect flame – it takes practice. Beginners might be better off with a propane stove.Fuel fuss: Gasoline and Coleman fuel aren't exactly odorless. Be prepared for a whiff (or two) while cooking. My tip at the end is the perfect solution!Cleaning can be a chore: No drip pans or removable grates means getting down and dirty after each meal.Weighty fella: Not the lightest option on the market, but the durability comes at a cost. The Verdict:The Coleman Unleaded Double Burner Fuel Stove isn't for everyone. It's for the campers who embrace the ritual of prepping the flame, who appreciate the freedom of fuel options, and who prioritize durability over convenience. If you're willing to put in the effort, this stove will reward you with years of reliable cooking adventures, come rain, shine, or zombie horde.Rating: 4 out of 5 stars (1 star deducted for the learning curve and cleaning challenges).Bonus tip: Run Aspen fuel to keep your generator happy and fuel storage hassle-free! And grab the Coleman folding oven for camp kitchen greatness. Happy camping!

I have a Coleman single burner petrol stove that I’ve had for years. I’ve finally invested in a double burner. Great design. Convenient to use. Feels proper old school and as parts are readily available should last forever.Powerful, it also simmers really well, especially on the second burner. Something the single stove couldn’t do.Using petrol means fuel is available cheaply anywhere. Gas canisters run out quickly and can sometimes be difficult to source sometimes which means you end up taking more with you than you need. Not with this. Buy a 1l fuel bottle and you’re sorted for ages. The naphtha that Coleman sell tends to be expensive and difficult to find in the UK but I’ve never had an issue with petrol. Naphtha runs cleaner with less odour though.

Like all Coleman stoves, this model is really good. Looks a little complicated to use, reading the instructions, but in fact very easy. Use Coleman fuel or Apex4, which are white gas fuels and everything will work as it should. Very nice flame, easy full control and it is quiet. Build quality is excellent also, so look after it and it will last for years. The burners are not so quick to boil as my 533 model, but no matter, as the two stoves serve different purposes, 533 more for back-packing. My first time I used this stove, it was for coffee, then soon had pan fried fish with boiled new potatoes and peas sorted for a meal. Coleman make a very high quality product at a reasonable cost, with this their family stove. Ok, the smaller of the two burners is a 'slave burner' and cannot be run by itself, but is a very good combination when you actually use it.These burners run stronger than gas burners and using white gas, run as clean. No soot or smoke or smell. The fuel tank holds more than enough for a meal for the family, then tea afterwards along with hot water for washing up.The wide Coleman burner gives a flame which spreads out around the pot, rather than concentrated in the centre, giving a nice even heat. So, we have a here a quality stove, well made, easy to use which should last for years if looked after. Spares, should they be needed, easy to find on the internet and not too expensive. Can't go wrong with a cooking machine like this.

I recently purchased this on Bolo for 115 pounds with free delivery via prime. This was the cheapest I could find this item after a lot of searching.Second hand stoves can be found on eBay for about 70 quid , but I decided the extra outlay was worth it for piece of mind.I bought this stove after a lot of research to try and find a good stove for family camping and I am pleased with my choice. I had looked at gas cylinder stoves , but when taking into consideration the outlay on a stove, calor cylinder and running costs I settled for the dual fuel stove. It is by far the cheapest option in the long run if you are a regular camper. Although cylinder stoves are convienent , I know from past experience that the flame and heat produced is not always the best and carrying round a big gas cylinder is also a hassle with limited space in the car. There is no hassle with the Coleman double burner. No big cylinder to lug around and the heat produced is excellent. The flame can be also be controlled excellently right down to a fine simmer. I can boil a pan of water in 4 minutes compared to 15 minutes on my old cylinder stove. It is also extremely well made. I am hopeful that it will last me for years. The only thing which could destroy it would be rust , so store in a cool dry place.I bought Aspen 4 fuel for this and it runs very well on it. I have read reviews which say that regular unleaded will soot up and reduce the lifespan of the generator , so will avoid it if I can. This is an excellent stove and well worth the money if you like camping and are looking for something reliable which will last for years.

    Junk. Poor quality control. Dangerous.

I’ve been camping with Coleman stoves for decades. I know how to operate the stove. I read the manual. The stove did not burn properly. The burner would not light. But gas leaked out of the back end of it and the rear end caught fire. Cannot even get Bolo to return the thing. Very disappointing. Coleman has lost its quality.
