    Worth the money but be aware of finger placement

    I really like this. It’s easy to use and kinda fun. Well fun until you forget to watch your finger placement and hit your finger. Actually getting the whole finger isn’t that bad but just catching a bit of the skin leaves a weird blood blister. Oh what we suffer for our art. But really ir does a great job. I also use it with jewelry that has beads by using a hammer, that works great and protects table surfaces.

    The product works fine for hardening wire. As opposed to whacking, I sandwich wire between the blocks and tap with a hammer.

    But not as well as they make it sound. It does straighten the wire, but it does not strengthen the wire. It is also very loud, the plastic "smacking" together frightens my dog every time I use it. So I know lay it flat and press on the two pieces with all my weight. It's OK.
