About this item:
As you feed your baby, you may notice your other breast leaking milk. This type of leaking affects many mums – and some
more than others! However, breast leaking is normal and this is where collection shells can help. You can wear milk collection
shells over your nipple to collect leaking breast milk. Medela milk collection shells are made from skin-friendly materials and
are shaped to your body, making them comfortable and discreet to wear. Not only can you wear them while breastfeeding, but
you can also wear them between feeds to avoid wet patches. Be sure to only feed your baby breast milk collected during breast-
feeding and not any milk that collects between feeding sessions. Use the shell's specially designed pouring hole to transfer breast
milk to a bottle or storage bag.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best product ever bought!
Hands down this has been a life saver for me, I am currently breastfeeding my daughter and I have a huge oversupply and was constantly leaking and flooding however this product has saved me the embarrassment of being soaked constantly. I would 100% recommend this product! I have managed to save so much milk and store it thanks to this product as well. No more waste! Very comfortable too, I actually forget I have it in my bra sometimes and end up tipping over and milk coming out (but that is my fault not the products😂) I do have to remember to take it out before bending over with them in but it is so easy to forget they are there! Quick, easy and efficient :) extremely pleased!
5.0 out of 5 stars Great for let down
I only have a single pump and I was finding that every time I pumped my other boob would just leak all over me and I literally wanted to cry over the spilt milk!! Used these last night for the first time and they are really comfortable and caught a good 10ml of milk from each side. I’m not sure what the max capacity they would be able to hold is though, but if you only have a smallish amount of let down they are great!
4.0 out of 5 stars Handy for the early days
I found these really helpful for the early weeks of breastfeeding, when you’re engorged or very leaky. Would just pop in on one side while feeding from the other to catch let down - easy. They did leave marks on me when I was really engorged but that wasn’t surprising to be honest, and it didn’t cause me any problems. Overall great for catching letdowns to top up your stash (or to catch to add to baths etc which is what I did mostly actually)
5.0 out of 5 stars Life saver, well milk saver anyway
This product has saved me so much washing over the past few weeks. My daughter is now 6 weeks old and from the point my milk came in I have been lucky enough to produce litres of the stuff. This did, however, mean that every time I fed her from one breast, the other leaked milk everywhere. Not only was I soaked after 5 minutes but so was my daughter. It was extremely frustrating. Breast pads were definitely not enough to keep us dry. A friend mentioned that you could buy shells to catch the milk so after a quick Bolo search I found these. I chose them because I thought they looked more comfortable than the others. They have been great. They are comfortable to wear during a feed, I did try wearing them for day to day activities once and found I looked like a breast feeding Lara Croft, huge and pointy. They have captured all my spare milk which I can then save (if I have sterilised the shells which I have done in a Closer To Nature steam steriliser) or just throw away and as long as you make sure the hole is the right way up then they haven't leaked, even when I've leant over to change her nappy and forgotten it was there.I would definitely recommend this product if you are having problems leaking vast quantities of milk during a feed. I think they may get a little uncomfortable if you tried wearing them for long periods of time; they have left rings round my nipples occasionally, but for half an hour or so they are fine.
3.0 out of 5 stars Useful
They fit well and are great for catching milk. Have also been using for sore nipples to stop pressure on them from clothing and breast pads. Easy to pore out with the opening at the top but spillage is easy if you are wearing for a while and lean forward. The pressure of the plastic edging on the areola hurts a bit after a while and leaves a red mark. But a useful item nonetheless, and is discreet and gives bra a nice shape.
5.0 out of 5 stars Good
Well made nipple shells used daily for weeks after birth, these are smaller than my other shells so had to empty a lot (if you have a good supply!) but only fault is these stupidly have a hole on the top so I’d seen bending down to get baby off changing mat on the floor and all the milk had leaked out soaking clothes. Otherwise works really well and an essential if you have loads of milk supply, I personally preferred a larger volumes shell that had a rubber bung in the top so milk couldn’t escape.
5.0 out of 5 stars They really work!
These little things are fantastic! I wish I had discovered them in the early days after birth when my boobs were literally pouring with milk before and during every feed, I could've collected so much milk to freeze and use later! At 8 weeks post partum I still have very leaky boobs so I thought I'd give them a go as I hate pumping but would like to store some milk for later down the line when baby is a little older and I'd like the option for my partner to bottle feed to give me a break or some freedom! I wear them instead of breast pads and it's amazing how much milk they collect, especially from the opposite breast during a feed. They are fairly comfortable but would be perceptible if not wearing a baggy top/ jumper, and are nice and easy to clean and sterilise. A great purchase if you want a hassle free way to collect milk without pumping!
5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant product, easy to use, great to save leaking milk!
Fantastic product, I was shocked at how much milk I was able to collect and save just by using one of these each time I fed/expressed!I thought these were suction cups so was surprised that they actually just sit inside your bra, however they are great and comfortable for short term use - I’ve had no leaks. They’re easy to use, clean and empty.I wouldn’t recommend using these over a long period of time as they only hold a small amount of milk and could fill up quickly and leak if using for too long a period, however they’ve been perfect for popping into my bra to collect any leakage whilst I’ve been feeding.
