Ok so I was painting my first mural and had no idea what to do after I’d painted the larger areas in walls paint. so after some research came across these. Pre warning you will need flow aid which is easy to use and you’ll be thankful you used it but my God are the colours gorgeous and everyone wanted to know what white I used as it took one or two coats to be totally opaque on black cannot recommend these enough remember the flow aid though!

Liquitex is my favourite brand for acrylic paint. Important: study carefully the product description to know what you are buying. I personally only buy single pigment paints, and Liquitex is very good about documenting the pigment used and the characteristics of the pigment - transparency, lightfastness and series. Beware that prices can vary significantly, so check prices on a regular basis since there are sometimes good deals - saving approx. 30% of the recommended price.Otherwise: if you want your work to last and colours remain stable, stay away from cheap paints: they use cheap pigments which have poor stability and they also put less pigments in the mix, which ends up being a waste of money.

This arrived promptly as was exactly the same shade as shown.It goes on nicely and has good depth. I prefer plastic tubes over metal as the paint is easier to extract and the top doesn't get all claggy.Always a great quality brand.

I like liquetex heavy body paint. It's good value compared to Gokden. I wish Bolo did Matisse heavy body as they are lovely top.

Beautiful colour!
I'm a mixed-media experimenter - a complete amateur who likes to mess around and see what happens. Right now I'm playing around with various acrylic mediums such as heavy body paints and so on. I'm not always sure what I'm avctually doing but I very much appreciate what the possibilities might be.I love this colour. Ir's a beautiful bright sunflower or lemon coloour. Thick, buttery and highly pigmented. lovely colour and a great company...
Very nice heavy body paint!
EDIT: i didn't see this in the listing, but on the tube is printed the list of ingredients with the warning that it may cause an allergic reaction...so I guess i'll have to have good ventilation and wear nitrile gloves or something. I'm one of those people that's really sensitive to various things. On another note however!I haven't used heavy body paints before, so this is a learning curve for me - and a happy one. I really like how heavy body it is. You can do 3D flowers, leaves, waves, etc and so this Hooker's Green will be used for shrubs and foliage.
