About this item:
Lucas Oil Stabilizer is a 100% petroleum product formulated to eliminate dry starts and reduce friction, heat, and wear in any type of engine. It allows engine oils a higher degree of lubricity which reduces oil consumption and operating temperatures. It is a pure petroleum multi-use oil supplement that controls noise, heat and wear in manual transmissions and differentials. Use Lucas Oil Stabilizer in gear oil to stop leaks, reduce operating temperatures and increase the life of the gear oil. Since it is pure petroleum, it can safely blend with all other automotive lubricants, even synthetics, ATF and mineral oil. It keeps old engines alive and new engines new. In Ford Powerstrokes we suggest one litre of Pure Synthetic Oil Stabilizer per oil change.

It may be a product that many folk hold with suspicion, however I'm thrilled to see it working. After buying an old land rover V8 with a very irritating tick in the engine that could not be diagnosed, even after taking the rocker covers off, changing the spark plugs, oil (twice in two weeks if ownership) and filters...adding this product to the correct weight of engine oil all but stopped the noise, it runs better, steadily gets up to temperature and the oil pressure is spot on, even after a long journey under heavy load.I'd suggest using half the measured amount to begin with, give your vehicle a run, let it settle over night and add the rest of the bottle to a cold engine. Run it again in a condition where the engine runs at over 2000 rpm for more than 10 minutes and you can hear the engine become quieter. Since last month and 1200 miles, I've not had any issue with the former problems and it starts first time, every time with the oil light going out on ignition, the oil pressure staying stable even on journeys up steep climbs.I'll be changing the oil in 6000 miles to check the condition and if all good, certainly using it again.

If you like your car than this is Must-Have. I just changed my engine oil with previously added this Lucas Oil Synthetic Stabilizer and I was pleasantly surprised. The drained oil was so black that even has dark blue shade. And when I removed the oil from the pan and wipe it out with T-shirt there was no residues left in the pan walls. This means that this Stabilizer has excellent washing-up qualities and keep all the dirt in the oil. And engine surface from inside is always shine.Very Happy!!!! 10**********

I saw being used in one YouTube video review and shows an improvement on the engine so I told myself why not try it to my well loved old Lexus IS220d 2007. Man I can tell you, (for all you guys who have an old well loved car that you can't afford to lose) this is the best thing that you're gonna feed your old car ever! My Lexy (car's name) sounded and runs smoother after feeding her this additive. I don't always say 'trust me' but man this product did really an excellent job to my Lexy. So highly recommended!

Oil changed my old Discovery 300tdi with over 200k and it has had low oil pressure on tick over for a couple of years. This product solved this instantly. I will use it every oil change now very pleased

The added protection is excellent, and I use this faithfully every oil change on my 2010 sierra and it keeps the old girl going strong. Added I use Mobil 1 10w30 full synthetic oil and a wix filter.

I have a Turbo Audi. Ever since I bought my car I always needed to refill my oil in between oil changes. Now that I know about Lucas I mix it with the car oil and it makes a huge difference! It saves me on oil and I get a little bit more mileage per gallon of fuel. Great product!
