The paper is not as thick as the more expensive - i.e. Pukka - pads, and the spiral binder is rather flimsy. Does that matter? Not really, if you are simply wanting it for rough notes. etc. HB lead doesn't show very clearly - it is too light - but B leads are about right. Forget about using Pilot Hi-Techpoint pens - the feathering is too much, certainly for me. Where these pads are excellent is if you work with ballpoint. Fine or medium points are great and I'm delighted with the results. Great price for the quantity, and I will certainly buy them again.
