  • DYLON Fabric Dyes are the easy way to add colour to your home and wardrobe. From all colours bright and beautiful to rich and intense shades
  • Perfectly suited for smaller items like shorts, vests or socks, and for delicates, you'd rather not put in the washing machine, like wool and silk.
  • One sachet is enough to dye 250g of fabric to the full shade or up to 500g of fabric to lighter shades (250g of salt required). Use multiple packs to dye larger quantities.
  • Suitable for: Wool, silk, cotton, linen & viscose. Mixed fabrics will achieve a lighter shade of colours and synthetic fabrics like polyester and nylon won’t dye.
  • This colour is also available as Machine Dye. Use with Pre-Dye if you want to change from one strong colour to another or if you want to achieve a lighter colour.

    This is a repeat purchase. I use this to add depth of colour to a much loved blue cotton shirt.Just add to wash and it looks refreshed..and lasts well

    Colour was a touch paler than on the packet, but that may have been due to the hand dying method. Otherwise a good, even coverage.

    This dye was bought to dye a plain white, pure cotton t-shirt. It turned out to be a sort of true pale sky blue, not a grey blue, not a green blue. It is a pretty colour but I didn't think it was true to the picture. I bought this particular blue to mix with green, hoping to get a teal colour. Things didn't go according to plan. However, the failure was in my ability to 'marry' the two colours I chose. Or rather to choose the right combination. I found the process easy and fun, and on the whole successful; apart from my failure to choose the right colours.

    I had a favourite old light blue shirt that had a badly faded collar and it always looked tatty because of the collar. But I now have a brand new looking shirt in light blue. which after ironing is absolutely great. I am so pleased this light blue dye is really good.No patchiness at all.

    I followed the instructions to the letter, even using scales and a thermometer to be extra precise! I'm so disappointed that the dye didn't take consistently on the t-shirt. The colour is lovely but I wouldn't recommend, I ruined a perfectly nice white top in the process.
