Good wire, a few things in the listing suggest a pair, such as the price per unit being half the total total price, suggesting two units; the packaging being labelled " 1 set", and the omission of the decimal point in the title at "1.2mm" leaving it readable as 2 x2100mm. But's that's all on Bolo, the Shimano gear cable is clean and comes with a single end cap to crimp on. These cables are so fine they aren't particularly abrasion resistant so benefit from careful handling until safely installed. Leaving an over length section in place while I installed mine and indexed the gears, a minute of hitting rotating spokes was enough to fray the strands on the bit I then discarded.

When my front derailleur cable snapped at the handlebars I thought I was in for a disaster trying to fix it. I was impressed how easy it was to get the cable attached at the lever and thread it through the existing cable guides and find its way through the frame of the bike to magically pop out near the bottom bracket. I think the factory installed protector at the end of the cable made it slide through easily without snagging. Once through the derailleur and tightened down, I cut off the excess, and back to riding the bike. I did take the opportunity to clean and lubricate the derailleur and lever system just to take the pressure off the cable. Should have done that way earlier. Much easier to shift ever since.

Als je voor zekerheid gaat, is Shimano een aanrader. Het werkt altijd goed en uit ervaring weet ik dat goedkopere kabels hetzelfde lijken maar minder sterk zijn. Het werkt erg goed en ik heb soepele schakeling zonder roest.
