Bought specifically for the synthetic stitching on my cotton dungarees but hasn’t changed in the slightestAlso, this dye (charcoal) is brown based, so as my dungarees were pale yellow and blue, they now look brown/purple.I did the exact same ones with a dylon pod years ago but needed synthetic for the stitching. Pointless 😔

Absolute waste of time buying this product, used to dye some seats and the colour on it was barely even sub par and made it look muddy, it looked dreadful and after it had dried and the covers were washed there was absolutely none of the colour left in it! Went back to how it was before dying it, absolute waste of money

I tried another famous brand first that me being British knew well, sadly it didn’t work my white curtains came out white not the smoke grey they were meant to be. I love the curtains they are voile with a cotton backing, but couldn’t get them in grey. I decided to try Rit, and I couldn’t be happier the color was charcoal grey and I’m extremely pleased with the result it said put salt or white vinegar depending on the material . (I did google and watch a video) . I thought in for a penny, so I put both in, and I did them in the washing machine I did use 4 bottles, but I’m pleased so I don’t care lol. Absolutely brilliant stuff I wouldn’t use any other make again except Rit.

I bought this products in the hopes that it would help me get rid of some sun stains that our stroller had. It was easy enough to follow the instructions, however, it did absolutely nothing to the color.

Worked great!
Ordered black and Navy dye to darken a pair of jeans. I mixed half of each bottle with water and salt and poured into the washer with hot water and then added the jeans. I let the wash cycle run for 45 minutes before rinsing and then washed the jeans on delicate with a gentle detergent. When it was done, I hung the jeans to dry and wiped out the washer. It worked very well! I basically just followed the instructions from RIT. You can still see a bit of color variation in the denim, but they look so much better.

Der Farbton ist ein tiefes, sattes Schwarz, das auch nach dem Waschen seine Intensität behält, was besonders wichtig ist, wenn man die Farbe für Kleidung nutzt, die regelmäßig gewaschen wird.Haltbarkeit und Pflege:Nach der Anwendung habe ich den Stoff gemäß den Anweisungen behandelt, und die Farbe hat sich sehr gut gehalten. Sie verblasst nicht, selbst nach mehreren Wäschen. Der Stoff fühlt sich nach dem Färben immer noch weich und angenehm an, was bei einigen Textilfarben nicht immer der Fall ist.

Es eficaz, pero hay que seguir las instrucciones del producto. Si quieres un mejor acabado hay que comprar también el fijador de color.Ojo que solo tiñe ciertos materiales, el que tiñe todo tipo de textiles es otro.No es un color negro puro, es ligeramente morado a la luz. ( Para un negro total hay que comprar el que se llama Jet Black).
