I used to use the Daler Rowney system 3 metallic acrylic paint, which were beautiful colours (both gold and silver) and heavily pigmented. When I came to buying more, the formula must have changed and it has drastically gone down in quality- the colours being dull and transluscent. I have tried several other brands and been similarly disappointed.This Windsor and Newton gold is the best I have come across so far and is almost as good as the original Daler and Rowney. It is similarly highly pigmented and opaque but it loses a star on colour. It is good enough but lacks the sparkle of the original Daler Rowney, which remained bright and sparkly even after drying. This one is more matte and dull.

It's like the picture, shiny and textured, reminiscent of coagulated blood. When diluted, the brownish tint remains. A beautiful colour.

Tiene una buena compatibilidad con otros acrílicos (Golden, Kimera, AK, vallejo) y es bastante sencillo de usar, se nota bastante la diferencia con respecto al blanco de titanio o de zinc tanto en consistencia como en transparencia. Este va genial para desaturar otros colores, ideal para hacer gradaciones de un mismo tono.
Works with stamperia soft moulds
I finally found the modelling paste equivalent to the Portuguese one I got in the Algarve! It only took me two tries on a couple of pastes which is not bad, it’s very light weight and it works perfectly on my stamperia soft moulds! Very flexible when it dries, perfect for stamperia soft moulds! Good price too!
