    The second time I have purchased this product (2 different houses). It is excellent. The bell press is large and obvious. No battery required and totally wireless. The receiver unit picks up the bell push from a good 10-15 feet away (and through a wall in the latest case). I haven’t tried it any further away. The receiver unit just plugs straight into a power socket. Plug and play, no set up necessary. Loud, distinctive and pleasant door ring sound. Plus, there is an electric socket point on top of the receiver, so you don’t lose the use of your power socket. Good durability so far (3 years + for the first unit). An excellent product.

    Best doorbell I’ve had! Great product and great value. Very easy to install. No batteries, just plug into socket and the really useful part is you can still use the socket to plug your appliances into! The bell is loud so I can hear it even in the garden! Working really well so far!

    My only gripe with this bell is that I feel it's not obvious to visitors how to use it. You need to press it until it clicks, at which point a small light becomes visible breifly. I believe this is how it powers itself - but to be honest, I would rather it was easier to ring and took batteries. When you receive your unit, you will know what I am talking about! I can easily envisage people pressing it lightly, thinking they've rung it, but they haven't. So I guess I will see how it goes when I get some delivery drivers trying it out!But in terms of the range, it is excellent. I actually bought this to replace a Ring video doorbell (you know, the video door bell that doesn't record video unless you pay a monthly fee). The Ring door bell was absolutely rubbish in terms of range. But this Tecknet doorbell is excellent - I am using it on my 1st floor flat and even when I tested it with the receiver as far away as possible, it still rang without any issues. I imagine it could be a problem though if you have a neighbour using the same bell, as there will no doubt be a signal conflict.Installation was pretty easy - it comes with a 3M double sided sticky pad that's made to measure. I used it, as well as screws, although screws alone would have been plenty. The downside with the sticky pad is you can't really move it later as it's a one-time use kinda thing.As for the plug-in receiver, it is pretty basic as you'd expect. I am just using the basic "ding dong" sound effect, which is the first option. The receiver also has a volume button and it's loud enough for me. Personally, I will only be turning the receiver on when I am expecting guests or a delivery - when I had the Ring doorbell, it was getting rung by all sorts of people that were nothing to do with me (e.g. drunks, visitors / deliveries for my neighbours). Really glad I got this doorbell and even gladder to see the back of my Ring VIDEO doorbell (that doesn't record video unless you pay a monthly subscription).

    What a brilliant doorbell, you don't need any batteries at all, you don't need wifi and you don't even need to pair it up. It works straight out of the box. It doesn't even take a plug socket up as you can plug another item in to it.You plug the chime into a plug socket, top button is for the volume, from off to loud.The bottom button is to select your doorbell chime, there are sixty to choose from some lovely ones and even seasonal ones like Christmas ones, even happy birthday, the chimes are great quality.To fix the doorbell to your door you can screw it into your door or use the double sided 3M pad which is sticky both sides.Just a tip if you use the 3m sticky pad pop out the little circles there are two. For a better fit.This doorbell is really great. So easy to setup and use.Definitely a great buy, the doorbell is well made and has a nice big button to press.The only thing I could think of to improve this doorbell is the option to buy another chime unit so you could one in the hall and one in the Living room. Especially if you have the tv on loud. I can still hear mine in the hall but it would be nice if you lived in a house you could have a chime upstairs. But that's only my opinion.Another thing I would like is a little blue light on the doorbell itself so people could see it at night. Even it used a small battery just for the light.After saying those two little improvementsI still rate this doorbell 10 out 10 it is really that good.You be pleased you brought this doorbell.

    Works very well, not as loud as the one it replaced but very close. Still loud enough.I liked the fact it doesn't need a battery as it generates its own signal to the socket plug-in base unit.We don't have to worry about missing a delivery if the battery was flat, like we did with the old unit this one replaced, and the size of the sending unit makes it easy to see and use by visitors to the door, for delivery drivers or friends.The two-sided tape mad it very easy to install, just make sure its lined up straight before applying as it sticks down very securely and will be hard to readjust. Would I recommend this product... yes.
