    This is my 2nd of this scale, the first one lasted approximately 4 years before it gave up on me. I never realised that Salter offer an 18 year warranty once you register the product. I didn't do that for the first one but will definitely do it this time round.The scale has various units which are easy to change between during use. The battery lasts a long time. We use it a couple of times daily for weighing out dog food portions.The accuracy is great as both dogs have extremely consistent weight. The vet even commented on it.It's small and compact and easy to clean. This silver one looks premium too.

    Use these 2 times daily and have to change the battery every 4monts - using brandex batteries. last salter scales batteries lasted much longer

    I chose this one initially because of the brand but mainly because of the led screen . I was struggling with my previous Salter one to choose lbs/grms . This new one is easy to read even in low light no problem at all..

    I only bought these to replace my 1st set that I bought 16 years ago of the same product. It's stood the yest of time, always weighed out precisely and were very robust! I have 3 kids who all used them from rainy days in the kitchen to making food as grown ups. Definitely recommend these!
