Bought this so solve a leaking cistern, long story but in the end AND after using plumbers tape the leak was stopped, no sweating of the pipe connections. Thankfully a good outcome.

I needed 10mm to 15mm to replace leaking TRV. original TRV was factory fit and heat sealed to 10mm plastic pipe (so no nut to unscrew)Had to source extra parts to extend pipework and an insert to strengthen.Easy to fit if and when you set up your area properly, ie drain down rad unless you got stoppers, need to close off pipe you are cutting into (I used a plastic pipe shutoff crimper) not seen on here, but sourced from tool station locally.That crimper is designed for 20mm mains pipes (if you need to shutoff and replace a mains service tap for a static.But I used crimper to clamp off my 10mm plastic pipe, unfortunately didn't quite work out and did squirt grey water, luckily I'm ready to push on the John guest fittings with TRV on close......so minimal damage.Things to note if replacing plastic pipe, use a cutter/cropper on pipe, not say a saw or knife, cropper is quick, and be ready with fitting to replace and cap off.
