Well, so far I am impressed.It's a wall made pan. The construction looks like it will tolerate the washing machine without too much hassle. It does have some steel in it that will eventually rust, I suppose, but other than that it is sturdy. The handle, by the way, is not wood, it's coated plastic. Eventually the pattern will probably wear off but being plastic it should last a while.The pan is a good size. Any smaller than this and there isn't enough room to toss things around inside the way you need to. Also, the bowl is heavier than the handle so it keeps the pan firmly on the cooker! I had a smaller pan than this before and not only was there no room to toss the food, so it ended up all over the cooker, but the handle was heavier than the bowl so if you didn't watch it it would tip over backwards - very dangerous. Even for one person I would recommend not going for a smaller pan than this.Non stick will burn off if you heat any pan too much, so just make sure you don't let it get too hot.Recommended! At this price it's a bargain!

The coating is not non-stick in the sense usually understood. Unlike normal teflon/aluminium combination utensils, in this case stuff actually sticks to it, and burns if not scraped off toute suite, but it is easy to clean off afterwards. Essentially it is a good quality version of the ubiquitous cheapo "non-stick" carbon steel woks, in that the coating is guaranteed for five years. It is very very doubtful that it will last that long though.The search continues ...An update:I have down-rated this thing from the two stars I originally gave it, to one. I have tried it a few more times with different stir-fries, some using more oil than others, and it is appalling. I nearly ruined my latest efforts by having to spend more time trying to scrape the sauce ingredients off the pan than actually cooking them. A significant quantity of the sauce congealed on the stirrer as it had to be scraped off the pan. Really dreadful. It does make one wonder whether manufacturers actually get anywhere near testing their wares before foisting them on the market. Henceforth it will enter service as a flower basket.'Stir' clear of this one.

This is very good for the price.The heat distribution is good.Just the right size for two people.The only downside is that is NOT dishwasher proof - wooden handle.

Always a risk when buying online, this wok does not disappoint. Extremely impressed with the size, weight and high standard of this product. Would definitely buy again and would definitely recommend.

Food sticks to surface.

Cannot recommend this, coating started flaking off after a very short time, leaving flakes of coating in the food and exposing the metal underneath to quick rusting. Its had light use over the past year. I have not heated it hard, i have not used metal utensils on it, its just cheap and poorly coated. Now resigned to garden duties and never to be cooked in again. Its non-stick for the first 6 months, then its going to ruin one of yur nice meals with black flakes of ptfe.

Anti-Haft nicht vorhanden. Beschreibung sagt aber was anderes. Vorsicht !
Sieht sehr schön aus.Leistung aber total ungenügend.Anti-Haft? Ist hier absolut nicht vorhanden.Sehr enttäuschend.Positiv- Mit Prime wird die Rückgabe unkompliziert angenommen trotzt Benutzung. Was hier auch sehr wichtig ist.
