Really like the texture and smell of this product. I have used cheaper products before, but there is something about Aveda that gives off a better quality. You don’t need to use a lot, so it lasts a long time.

I really like this product. The smell is nice, and the hold is fantastic leaving your hair looking like it has no product in. No shininess or stickiness. I wouldn’t buy anything else now.

I have fine hair which turns a little fluffy after a shower. Using this Aveda hair paste is so easy and effective. A few small dabs on each hand and then I can place and style my hair in seconds. It provides a good hold but not so much that it either looks or feels too much. Aveda make very good products and this one is up there with the best of them. Highly recommended if you want your hair to stay put and not look fluffy.

It ain't cheap, but it lasts a bloody long time - providing you are not trying to tame a mane of hair - a little goes a long way. Instructions say can be used on damp or dry hair - from my experience damp hair = zero hold, dry hair = good hold with matte finish as described. If you are looking for a solid firm hold this is not the product for you.Smells decent, washes off your hands easily and seems like a fair compromise between natural (fully paraben free) crap holding and hair isn't moving but you'll it will fall out/ die of cancer chemical heavy alternatives

Purchased for a friend. He’s delighted and had many compliments on the fragrance of his hair. Uses it everyday and as it’s such good quality it will last ages. Great hold. I’m a stylist so don’t just buy any old product. Aveda aren’t tested on animals.

Unfortunately - like many others it seems - I was enticed into buying this based on several promising reviews.First Impressions:I received the product today, and the first thing I noticed was the smell - not pleasant in any way as described by others, but a very sickly, bitter, 'disinfectant' type of scent (like the type used to clean hospitals). I've purchased a few hair products recently as one I had been using was discontinued, and this one has the worst smell out of all of them which is a shame considering the higher end price.Hold Factor:This product has equally poor 'hold' factor. My hair is not long, and despite the tub saying to 'use a small amount' (which I did at first) I had to use more than was ideal to get any kind of shape into my hair. After about 10-15 minutes, my hair started to feel flat and had not retained any of the original shape. I didn't want it to be 'rock solid' or anything like that, just shapable with good hold, but this did not come close to even the £5 brands I've seen elsewhere on Bolo.Summary:Needless to say, this product from Aveda is a hard avoid, and a lesson learned that a higher price does not mean higher quality by any means. If I manage to find a better replacement elsewhere I'll update this review to suggest an alternative, but for now I can safely say you are better off saving your money and steering clear of this product altogether (unless you enjoy smelling like sickly citrus bleach of course).

This clay smells, applies and looks bloody awesome.You'll have all manner of woodland creatures chatting you up, asking where you obtain that luscious smelling scent from.You'll walk about like you sleep in a bed of lemons and other fruit that have a mildly appealing scent.It's not overwhelming, but every now and then you'll get this whiff of... 'yep, I smell like a boss'When travelling through an airport, I was stopped at security, and the security man wanted to take a sample of it for testing.He opened it up, smelled it, gave me that raised eyebrow of approval to note he sensed I was a man of good taste, and apologised for having to waste even a smidge of it for his machine.Pros:Woodland creaturesBabesQuality approval from airport securityEasy to applyCons:Mildly pricey, but I'd say worth it.
